Enabling or disabling international calling in Zoom App
In order for international calling to be enabled or disabled, administrators must specify the countries and regions that are allowed to receive outbound calls. The user will hear a prompt on their phone informing them that international calling is not possible, if international calling is disabled.

How to enable or disable international calling
- Choose one of the available levels for the International Calling policy.
- To enable or disable International Calling, click the toggle.
- Manage Country/Region can be found by clicking Manage Country/Region.
There will be a dialog box titled Country/Region. - You can select one of the following tabs in the Country/Region dialog box:
- Call Out: Check or search for the countries/regions where phone users can make calls.
- BYOC: BYOC phone users can call the following countries/regions when searching or checking.
Note: Only BYOC services will be included in the BYOC list
- Specify the allowed countries/regions for outbound calls in the next section (optional).
Note when changing this setting at the account, group, or site level:
When you click the lock icon, you’ll be prompted to confirm your setting, so you can prevent all users within the account, group, or site from changing it. Explore Zoom Phone’s tiered policy settings and learn more about their priority.
How to specify allowed countries/regions for outbound calling
You can change the countries and regions that users can call after changing the policy setting for international calling.
- Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by logging in.
- Select Account Management and then Billing from the navigation menu.
- You can find Zoom Phones at the bottom of the page.
- To view all plans, click View All Plans.
- Listed countries/regions can be viewed or edited.
- To select a country or region, select one of the tabs below:
- Call Out: The desired countries/regions can be searched or checked.
- BYOC: Users of BYOC phones can search for or check the countries/regions they would like to call.
Note: Only BYOC services will be included in the BYOC list
- Then click Save.
