Prerequisites for exporting logs and configuration files for Yealink phones

How to obtain the phone’s IP address
T4 series without touchscreen
- To access the menu, press the Menu button.
- Select the Status option using the directional pad of the phone.
- Write down the IPv4 address of the phone.
T4 series with a touchscreen
- From the home screen, tap the Menu button.
- In the case of a touchscreen T4 series, tap Status.
- The IPv4 address can be found there.
T5 series with a touchscreen
- The home screen can be accessed by swiping left.
- Select Settings.
- Go to the General tab.
- Take note of your IPv4 address.
How to access the phone’s web interface
- The phone should be connected to the same network as your computer so you can open a web browser on the computer.
- The IP address of the phone needs to be entered on the computer.
- Log in as an administrator to the phone’s web interface.
Note: Your user name and password will be admin/admin. Your username or password can be obtained by contacting the phone’s manufacturer. The password can be viewed via Zoom’s web portal if the admin password is set globally.
How to export logs and configuration files using the phone’s web interface
- Go to Settings > Configuration and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Here are the steps you need to take in order to enable local logging:

- Type the address of the server to which you want the logs exported.
- Syslog Transport Type:
- Set to TCP.
- Syslog Level:
- Increase to 6.

- Navigate to the Local Logs section
- Launch the logging feature by clicking Start.
- Repeat the procedure using the Yealink phone to reproduce the issue.
- After 2 or 3 minutes, click Stop to stop the process. You will automatically download an allconfig.zip file. If it does not, click Export instead.
