How to Record Group HD video in Zoom meeting App

720p video quality is enabled for group speaker active speaker video layout.

Full high definition video

1080p is of limited availability.

Business plans or enterprise plans that want to consider this feature can send requests to Zoom Support.

 

Requirements

Standard HD (720p )
720p Pro, Business, or Enterprise account
Full screen display on desktop client

 Full HD (1080p)
Business account or enterprise account. Enabled by Zoom support.
I7 Quad Core (physical core) CPU or more
/>Zoom Desktop Client for Windows version 4.3.46185.0120 or later
/>Zoom Desktop Client for Mac version 4.3.53325.0120 or later

1080P support is restricted for use with business accounts and enterprise accounts and must be enabled by Zoom support.

 

Group HD Enabling

Note that the group HD uses more CPU and bandwidth (up to 2 Mbps).

If there are network or CPU performance problems, disable group HD.

 

Enable Group HD feature at the account level

  • Sign in to the Zoom Web Portal as an administrator with permission to edit account settings and click Account Settings.
  • [ Meeting [of] tab group HD go to the option, make sure that the setting is enabled.
  • If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it.
    When the confirmation dialog appears, select Enable to confirm your changes.

 

 

  • Sign in to the Zoom Web Portal as an administrator with permission to edit account settings and click Account Settings.
  • [ Meeting [of] tab group HD go to the option, make sure that the setting is enabled.
  • If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it.
    When the confirmation dialog appears, select Enable to confirm your changes.

 

 

Optional:

Click the lock icon to lock this setting if you require this setting for all users in your account.

 

Enable group HD feature for a specific group

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with permission to edit user groups, and click Group Management.
  2. Click the name of the group and then click the Settings tab.
  3. [ Meeting [of] tab group HD go to the option, make sure that the setting is enabled.
  4. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it.
    When the confirmation dialog appears, click to enable you to see the changes and select].

 Note: If an option is grayed out, it is

locked at the account level and must be changed at that level.

Optional: If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in this group,

click the lock icon to lock.

 

Personalize Group HD function

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal and click My Meeting Settings.
  2. [ Meeting [of] tab group HD go to the option, make sure that the setting is enabled.
  3. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it.
    When the confirmation dialog appears, click to enable you to see the changes and select].

 

Group HD bandwidth requirements

Standard HD (720p )

For meetings with 3 or more participants, the standard HD (720p) video requires at least 1.5mbps up and down.

Full HD (1080p )

 

In the case of a meeting with two participants

You need at least 1.3mbps up and down to receive full HD (1080p) video. To send full HD (1080p), you need at least 2.8mbps up and down.

 

In the case of a meeting with three or more participants

You need at least 2.5mbps up and down to receive full HD (1080p) video. To send a full HD (1080p) video, you need at least 3.0mbps up and down.
