How to Use the Vimeo chatbot in Zoom App
It is possible to receive Vimeo notifications via Zoom chat channels when there are new videos, groups, or projects on Vimeo through the Zoom chat app for Vimeo. Users can also search for videos in their account by filtering them based on recent uploads or by searching by the name of the video.

How to install and configure
How to install from the Zoom Marketplace
- When you are logged in as a Zoom admin, you will see the Zoom Marketplace under your Zoom account.
- The Vimeo app can be found by searching for Vimeo and clicking on the icon.
- In case the app has not yet been pre-approved, you can pre-approve it.
- You can add an app by clicking Add, confirming the app permissions, and then choosing Authorize:
The zoom chat app for Vimeo will now be available for all users in the Zoom account, and you will be able to see a success page.
When the app has been installed, you can find it in the left-hand panel of Zoom Chat tab’s left-hand panel under the APPS section.
How to connect and configure the Vimeo chatbot
- In the Zoom Chat tab of the desktop client, you will be able to navigate to the Vimeo channel once you install the Vimeo app from the Zoom Marketplace.
- Send a message to connect by typing connect and sending it
A link will be sent to you by the Vimeo chat application in order to authenticate your account with Vimeo. - In order to authenticate your account with Vimeo, please click the link below.
- When the authorization is successful, a success message will appear on the Zoom chat window, as well as a success message on the web page.
As a result of this configuration, Zoom users can issue the configure command for any chat channel to set up notifications for that channel.
How to use the Vimeo chatbot

Subscriptions can be saved by clicking on the Save Subscription button.

- New Videos: Upon uploading a video through the Vimeo home page, you will receive a notification.
- Note: In order to receive the notifications for New Videos, the upload button on the Vimeo home page will have to be clicked on by you before you can add the video to your account.

How to uninstall the Vimeo chat app
- You can access the Zoom Marketplace by logging into your Zoom account and navigating to the Zoom Marketplace page.
- You can find Vimeo by searching for it on the app store and clicking on it.
- When you click on Vimeo, you will be prompted to remove it.

- There are several pieces of information that this app has access to on Zoom:
- Under the Zoom account, you can view the channels that a Zoom user has subscribed to.
- Under the Zoom account, it is possible to view the details of existing meetings for Zoom users.
- Using a Zoom account, you will be able to see all the information about the Zoom user.
- According to Vimeo, the following information is available to this app:
- You will be able to access your public videos, albums, groups, channels, and portfolios through your Profile page.
- Depending on the permissions set by the owner of the Vimeo account, users may be able to access their private videos and albums as well as groups, channels, and portfolios.
- Scopes: public: You can access the data of public members by logging in to your account.
- Vimeo data accessed: Video endpoint returned a full response in response to the video request
- Vimeo data displayed: There are a number of videos listed (name, status, date/time that the video was uploaded, date/time that the video was created, link to video, duration), a list of new projects and new groups (name, description, date/time that the project was created.
- Vimeo data stored in DB: The access token is used to gain access to the website
- Data sent by Vimeo to the app: Responses from the endpoints for Videos, Groups, and Projects have been received in full
- There are the following permissions that this chat application has on Zoom:
