How to Use the Vimeo chatbot in Zoom App

It is possible to receive Vimeo notifications via Zoom chat channels when there are new videos, groups, or projects on Vimeo through the Zoom chat app for Vimeo. Users can also search for videos in their account by filtering them based on recent uploads or by searching by the name of the video.

How to install and configure

How to install from the Zoom Marketplace

  1. When you are logged in as a Zoom admin, you will see the Zoom Marketplace under your Zoom account.
  2. The Vimeo app can be found by searching for Vimeo and clicking on the icon.
  3. In case the app has not yet been pre-approved, you can pre-approve it.
  4. You can add an app by clicking Add, confirming the app permissions, and then choosing Authorize:
    The zoom chat app for Vimeo will now be available for all users in the Zoom account, and you will be able to see a success page.

When the app has been installed, you can find it in the left-hand panel of Zoom Chat tab’s left-hand panel under the APPS section.

How to connect and configure the Vimeo chatbot

  1. In the Zoom Chat tab of the desktop client, you will be able to navigate to the Vimeo channel once you install the Vimeo app from the Zoom Marketplace.
  2. Send a message to connect by typing connect and sending it
    A link will be sent to you by the Vimeo chat application in order to authenticate your account with Vimeo.
  3. In order to authenticate your account with Vimeo, please click the link below.
  4. When the authorization is successful, a success message will appear on the Zoom chat window, as well as a success message on the web page.

How to use the Vimeo chatbot

  • help: A list of all the available commands for the Vimeo chat app can be found by typing help in the chat window.
