Please check the meeting host’s chat settings. You cannot chat in a meeting if the chat feature is turned off. Even if the participant’s chat function is on, if the meeting host’s chat is off, you cannot chat in the meeting.
Use the following method to turn on the meeting host chat feature:

Turn on the chat function for the user
Turn on chat and private chat from My Meeting settings.
If you are unable to chat in a meeting using this method, please check whether the chat function is turned on or off for the entire account.
