Registering for Zoom Events

Before you join any free or paid event, make sure you register for all of them. The country you are located in determines whether or not you are able to participate in Zoom Events, as well as whether or not you are able to register for a free or paid event.

You will also experience different registration processes depending on the host’s registration requirements, the type of event you are registering for, the cost and type of registration you have chosen, and the type of event/conference you are attending. Additionally, if you are an external attendee (meaning that it is not in the same domain as the host) or an internal attendee (meaning that it belongs to the same domain as the host), your email address is going to be different, depending on whether you are an internal or external attendee (meaning that it does not exist in that domain).

Prerequisites for registering for Zoom Events

  • Zoom desktop client:
    • Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
    • macOS: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Zoom mobile client
    • iOS: 5.7.6 or higher
    • Android: 5.7.6 or higher
  • A basic account, a pro account, a business account, an enterprise account, or an education account
  • When registering for a paid event, you must select your payment method and enter the address of the person to whom the ticket was sold

Notes:

  • Despite the fact that version 5.7.6 does support Zoom Events, there is a dependency with Windows’ Webview package for Windows platform; this may lead to a blank lobby experience for attendees if the Webview package is not installed.
  • The Zoom desktop client/mobile application must be updated to the latest version in order for attendees to be able to access the latest Zoom Events and Webinar features at the event.

How to register for Zoom Events

Register for a free event

  1. Join Zoom Events by logging in to your account.
  2. The Hubs button can be found in the top right corner of the page.
  3. In order to view only the events available in a given hub, click the name of the hub.
  4. Click on the Events tab to view a list of upcoming events.
  5. Click on the tab labelled Upcoming Events under the All Events section of the website.
  6. If you wish to register for an event, you need to find it and click on it.
  7. You will be directed to the registration page.
    Note: Tickets can only be registered for a Zoom Event by the person who is attending.
  8. The following scenarios will require you to complete the registration process:
    Note: It is now necessary for you to register for a specific event type based on the type of event you are attending and the registration requirements that are set by the event organizer.
    • Single-session event/event series
    • Conference events
      • No privacy policy or registration questions
      • Privacy policy included, no registration questions
      • Registration questions included, no privacy policy

Internal registrants

Registering for a free event or event series is as simple as following these steps:

  1. Take advantage of this free event by registering.
    The page will appear with a confirmation message.

External registrants

Registering for a free event or event series is as simple as following these steps:

  1. Take advantage of our free events by registering.
  2. Review Orders are displayed on the following page:
    • If you would like to edit the information on your ticket, click on Edit Ticket (Optional).
      • When you click on the + sign, you will be able to add more tickets to your cart. Using the – sign will allow you to decrease the number of tickets you are purchasing.
      • The next step is to click Continue.
    • If your email address is not already in the system, enter it under Email Address.
      You will need to enter the email address(es) of the person or persons who will receive the tickets if you have multiple tickets.
    • The following checkboxes need to be selected:
      • In the event that there is no privacy policy provided by the host:
      • The Event Participant Terms of Use have been read and I agree to them. I also acknowledge that the Host will receive my contact information, as well as my other information that I provide as part of this registration process. There is no privacy notice provided by this host. In order to obtain further information, please contact the Host directly.
      • It is recommended that you read the host’s privacy policy if one has been provided: In addition to reading and agreeing to the Event Participant Terms of Use, I acknowledge and agree that the Host’s Privacy Notice applies to all information provided as part of this registration process, including my contact information and any other information I provide during this process.
        • Review the host’s policy regarding privacy by clicking on the link provided in the Host’s Privacy Notice section.
      • The event host may record and stream the event for commercial purposes, which may include the use of my image, voice, and name on the Zoom Events platform. As part of this agreement I agree that I will be recorded and live-streamed at this event.
        It is important to note that this checkbox is only applicable to events that will be recorded or streamed live.
    • The following checkboxes can be selected (optional) based on your preferences: It is my understanding that the Event Host will send me marketing communications in the future.
  3. Confirm your registration by clicking the Confirm Registration button.
    You will then be redirected to a confirmation page.

Conference events

No privacy policy or registration questions

Registration for free conference events, without a privacy policy or registration questions, can be accomplished by following these steps:

Internal registrants

  1. You can register for a free event by clicking here.
    Once the form has been submitted, you will see a confirmation page.

External registrants

  1. Join us at one of our free events by registering today.
  2. On the Review Orders page, you will see the following information:
    • If you wish to edit your ticket information, click the Edit Ticket button located under the ticket.
    • Your email address can be found under the heading Email Address.
    • The following checkboxes must be checked in order to proceed:
      • As part of this registration process, I acknowledge that my contact information will be shared with the Host as well as any other information that I provide in order to participate in the Event. In the absence of a privacy notice, this host has not provided any information. If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact the host.
      • My image, voice, and name may be recorded at or live-streamed from this event, and I agree that the event host may use my image, voice, and name for commercial purposes (including sharing these recordings or live streams on Zoom Events for public viewing), during, and after this event.
        Note: It is only necessary to select this option if there will be a recording or livestreaming of the event.
    • Please select the check boxes for the following options that you wish to have:
      • It is my understanding that the Event Host and its sponsors may contact me from time to time with marketing communications.
        Note: When you select this check box, you will give your permission to the host as well as the sponsor(s) to share your contact information with them. According to the host’s privacy policy, your contact information may be shared with sponsors, advertisers, and other parties as determined by the host.
      • View the list of participating sponsors for the event by clicking on the sponsors link located on the event page. By clicking the available link, you will easily be able to view a sponsor’s privacy policy if one has been provided.
      • Note: It is possible that there will be more sponsors added before the event begins.
  3. Confirm your registration by clicking the Confirm Registration button.
    There will be a confirmation page displayed after you click the submit button.

Privacy policy included, no registration questions

If you would like to register for a free conference with a privacy policy and no custom registration questions, please use the following form:

Internal registrants

  1. Don’t miss this free event. Register now.
  2. When you are on the Review Order page, you will see the following:
    • In order to edit the information about your ticket, click Edit Ticket from the By Ticket menu.
    • The Email Address field is where you can view the email address that you have provided.
  3. In order to confirm your registration, click the Confirm Registration button.
    You will be taken to a confirmation page after clicking on the link.

External registrants

  1. You are invited to attend a free event.
  2. In order to place a review order, click on the following link:
    • It is possible to edit the ticket information by clicking Edit Ticket on the ticket page (Optional).
    • Your email address can be found under Email Address on the left side of the screen.
    • By checking the required boxes, you will be able to:
      • This registration process will be governed by the Host’s Privacy Notice as it pertains to my contact information and any other information provided in the course of completing this process will be subject to the Host’s Terms of Use and I acknowledge that I have read the Terms of Use and agree to them.
        • In order to review the host’s privacy policies, please click on the Host’s Privacy Notice link at the top of the page.
      • During this event, I agree to having my image, voice, and name used by the event host and potential sponsors for commercial purposes (including making the recording or livestream available to the general public for viewing if I are part of the recording or livestream).
        The check box below does not apply unless an event will be recorded or livestreamed, so keep that in mind before checking this box.
    • The following check boxes can be selected (optional) based on your needs:
      • The Event Host and its sponsors may send me marketing communications relating to the Event and its sponsors, if I agree to do so.
        Note: When this check box is selected, you will be opting in to allow the host as well as the sponsor(s) to receive your contact information. As stated in the host’s privacy policies, the host may share information about you with sponsors and other third parties as outlined in their privacy policies.
      • View the list of sponsors participating in the event by clicking on the sponsors link at the top of the page. By clicking on the available links, you will be able to view the privacy policies of sponsors who have provided one.
      • Note: Before the event starts, more sponsors may be added, so keep an eye out for updates.
  3. Please click on the Confirm Registration button to confirm your registration.
    There will be a confirmation page that appears after you click submit.

Registration questions included, no privacy policy

When you register for a free conference that asks for your registration information, but does not have a privacy policy, please follow these steps:

Registrants within the company

  1. Don’t miss out on this free event that you can register for here.
  2. In order to review an order, click the following link:
    • It is possible to edit the information associated with your ticket by clicking Edit Ticket (Optional). The ticket can be removed by clicking on the Delete button.
    • Detailed information about your email address can be found under Email Address.
      It will be necessary to enter the email addresses of the recipient(s) of the tickets if you have more than one ticket.
    • As part of the registration process, you will be asked the following questions:
      • Whenever you are asked to fill out registration questions, you will need to answer the registration questions before clicking Confirm Registration. If you don’t want to answer the registration questions, click Don’t Ask.
      • Whenever registration questions are optional, you have the option of answering them or letting them stay blank if you do not wish to answer them.
  3. When you have finished the registration process, click on the Confirm button.
    In the following window, you will be able to confirm your request.

External registrants

  1. You are invited to attend a free event.
  2. In the Review Order page, you will find the following information:
    • To edit your ticket information, click on Edit Ticket (Optional) by clicking on the ticket you wish to edit.
    • It is possible to view your email address by clicking on the Email Address link.
    • As part of the registration process, you will be asked the following questions:
      • In order to confirm registration, the required registration questions will be asked to you, and you must answer them before clicking the “Confirm Registration” button.
      • You may choose whether to answer registration questions if you wish, or you may leave them blank if you do not wish to answer them.
    • Please select the appropriate check boxes in the following order:
      • It is my understanding and agreement that my contact information, as well as any other information provided to the Host during the registration process, will be shared with the Host and i acknowledge the fact that this information will be shared with the Host. There has not been a privacy notice provided by this host. If you would like more information, please contact the Host directly.
      • This event may be recorded or live-streamed by the event host for commercial purposes including the ability to view the recording or live-stream publicly on the Zoom Events platform (including to watch the recording or live-stream on the Zoom Events platform in the future).
        Note: You need to check this box only if you are recording or livestreaming the event.
    • Please select the checkboxes that you wish to select from the list below (optional):
      • The Event Host and/or its sponsors can contact me from time to time with marketing communications regarding the Event.
        Note:
      •  By checking this box, you will imply that you would be happy for your contact information to be shared with both the host and the sponsor (if applicable). If the host has a privacy policy, it may disclose your contact information to sponsors and others for the purpose of their sponsorship.
        • View the list of the event’s sponsors by clicking the sponsor link on the left side of the page. It is possible to view a sponsor’s privacy policy by clicking on the links provided by the sponsor if the sponsor has provided one.
          Note: It is possible that more sponsors will be added before the event begins.
  3. Please click on the Confirm Registration button to confirm your registration.
    As soon as you click on the link, you will be taken to a confirmation page.

Privacy policy and registration questions included

If you wish to register for free conferences with a custom registration form and a privacy policy, please follow these steps:

Registrants within the company:

  1. You are invited to attend a free event.
  2. On the page of the Review Order, you will see the following information:
    • Ticket information may be edited by clicking Edit Ticket (Optional) at the top of the page.
    • View your email address under Email Address on the left side of the screen.
    • During the registration process, you will be asked the following questions:
      • Before you can click the Confirm Registration button, you will need to complete all of the questions asked during the registration process before you can click the Confirm Registration button.
      • It is up to you whether you want to answer the registration questions or not, when they are optional. If you won’t answer them, then you cannot register.
  3. Confirm your registration by clicking the Confirm button.
    Upon submitting the form, you will be presented with a confirmation window.

External registrants:

  1. Please register for one of our free events.
  2. Review Orders can be viewed on the following page:
    • You may edit the information on your ticket by clicking on Edit Ticket (Optional) on the ticket page.
    • The email address for your account can be found under the Email Address field.
    • As part of the registration process, please answer the following questions:
      • Before you can click Confirm Registration, you will need to complete your registration questions if they are required, after you have answered the required registration questions, you will be able to verify your registration.
      • Depending on whether or not you decide to answer the registration questions, you can leave the answer fields blank when theThe following check boxes need to be selected:red check boxes:
      • There are a number of terms and conditions that must be read and agreed to before I can become a member of an event, as well as acknowledging that my personal information, including my contact information, will be subject to the host’s privacy notice as part of the registration process.
        • It is possible to review the host’s privacy policies by clicking the link on the Host’s Privacy Notice page.
      • In the event that my image, voice, and name are recorded or live-streamed at this event, and these recordings and live streams can later be used for commercial purposes (including public viewing of the recordings or livestreams on Zoom Events platforms) by the event host.
        In this case, you must check the box only if you are going to record or stream the event.
    • Please select the check boxes that apply to the following options if you wish to do so:
      • The Event Host and sponsors of the Event agree that I will receive marketing communications from them in the future.
        Please note that by selecting this check box, you will be consenting to both the host as well as the sponsor(s) being able to access your contact information. Depending on the host’s privacy policy, your contact information may be shared with sponsors and sponsors may be able to contact you.

        • For a full listing of the event’s sponsors, please click on the sponsors link at the bottom of the page. By clicking the links provided by the sponsors, you will be able to view their privacy policies if they have provided them.
          Note: The number of sponsors may increase before the start of the event if more sponsorships are added.
  3. Confirm your registration by clicking the Confirm Registration button.
    There will be a confirmation window that appears at the end of the process.

Register for a paid event

In order to complete the registration process for a paid event, you must provide your payment method and the sold-to address for the event before you can register. There is a wide range of payment methods that you will be able to choose from, depending on what the host accepts as a method of payment.

Receive an email reminder for paid event availability

There will be an availability for paid ticket registration for events that are scheduled at a later date. This will depend on what the event hub’s payment provider requires. As soon as the registration open date of a paid event is announced, you will be able to view the registration details page and register once the registration window is open, or you can choose to receive an email reminder to do so.

  1. Join Zoom Events by signing in with your Zoom account.
  2. The Hubs page can be found by clicking the Hubs link at the top of the page.
  3. You can find the Events tab by clicking on it.
  4. The upcoming event tab can be found under the All Events section of the website.
  5. If you are interested in registering for a paid event, find it and click on it.
  6. You will be able to register for a paid event by viewing the message on the details page of the paid event: Registration opens on ________.
    Note: During the opening day of the event, you will only be able to register for this event.
  7. Please click the Set a Reminder button to set a reminder for yourself.
    Once registration is open, you will receive an email with information on how to register.
  8. You can turn off the reminder by clicking on the Turn off reminder button (optional).
    In order to remind you when registration will open, you will not receive an email.

Complete paid registration

A paid event can be registered for by following the steps below:

  1. Zoom Events can be accessed by logging in to your account.
  2. In the upper right-hand corner of the page, click Hubs from the drop-down menu.
  3. You can find the Events tab by clicking on it.
  4. The Upcoming Event tab can be found under the All Events tab.
  5. In order to register for a paid event, locate and click on the event you wish to attend.
  6. You will be redirected to the registration page.
  7. Click on Choose Ticket in the window that opens up, then select the ticket that you would like to purchase.
    Note: There is only one ticket that can be registered by an attendee of a Zoom Event.
  8. The following scenarios will require you to complete the registration process:
    Note: Depending on which event type you are registering for and what the registration requirements of the event organizer are, the registration process will now vary from one type of event to another.
    • It can be a one-time event or a series of one-time events
    • Events related to conferences
      • There are no questions regarding privacy or registration at this time
      • There is no need to register, a privacy policy is included
      • No privacy policy is included with the registration questions, only the registration questions
      • The registration questions and the privacy policy are included in the registration process

Single-session event/event series

Single-session event/event series

Internal registrants

You can register for a single-session event or a series of events for a fee by following these steps:

  1. The event you wish to attend must be paid for.
  2. The following information can be found on the Review Order page:
    • You can edit the information on your ticket by clicking on Edit Ticket to the right of Ticket, if you wish.
    • You can view the email address associated with your account by clicking on Email Address.
      The email addresses of those who will receive the tickets need to be entered if there are multiple tickets.
    • In order to complete this registration process, you must check the box to the left that indicates that you have read and agree to the Event Participant Terms of Use, and that you have read and agreed to the Host’s proprietary terms and conditions. There is no privacy notice provided by this host. If you would like to find out more information, please feel free to contact the host. Check the box to indicate that you agree.
  3. Please click on the “Continue” button to continue.
  4. Whenever you are on the Confirm and Pay page, you will see the following:
    • Your billing address can be found at the bottom of the invoice
      • Make sure the billing address is correct before you submit the order.
        Note: The address you entered will be displayed only if your address has already been saved in your profile.
      • If you wish to edit the billing address or to change the billing address, you can click Edit (Optional).
        Note: It will be updated with the updated address under Attendee Payments & Billing so that the address listed under this section can be revised.
    • Pay with
      • The first step is to select the payment card you wish to use from your saved payment cards, then type in the CVC number if you have already saved it to your profile.
      • It is also possible to select New debit or credit card if you don’t have any cards saved to your profile or would like to use another one.
      • Using PayPal: The PayPal account you want to use will open in a pop-up window; select your saved PayPal account to proceed with the payment or add a new PayPal account.

In the case that you paid with a credit card, please click on Confirm and Pay. As soon as the confirmation window appears, you will be asked to confirm.

External registrants

You can register for a single-session event or a series of events for a fee by following these steps:

  1. You will need to register for a paid event in order to participate.
  2. In the Review Order page, you will find the following information:
    • You can edit your ticket information by clicking Edit Ticket, which is located to the right of the Ticket field.
    • In the Email Address field, you will find your email address on the left side of the screen.
      The email addresses of the ticket recipient(s) should be entered if you have multiple tickets.
    • Make sure that the following check boxes are selected:
      • As part of this registration process, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the Event Participant Terms of Use, and I understand that the information I provide as part of this registration process is shared with the Event Host. There is no privacy notice provided by this host. If you would like further information, please contact the Host.
      • It is understood and agreed that my image, voice, and name may be recorded, or livestreamed, during this event, and I agree to the use of these materials for commercial purposes including public viewing of the recordings or livestreams on the Zoom Events platform (including by the event host).
        Note:
      •  It is only applicable to events that will be recorded or livestreamed that will have this check box checked.
    • It is optional for you to check the following boxes that you would like to check:
      • In accordance with the Event Host and its sponsors, I agree to receive marketing communications from them in the future.
        Note: This checkbox will allow you to opt in to letting both the host(s) and the sponsor(s) know your contact information if you select this checkbox. According to the host’s privacy policy, your contact information may be shared with sponsors and others for the purpose of promoting their products.
        • You can view the list of participating sponsors for the event by clicking the sponsors link at the top of this page. By clicking the available links, you will be able to view the privacy policy of a sponsor if a sponsor has provided one.
          Note: In the days leading up to the event, there may be more sponsors added to the list.
  3. Please click on the Continue button to continue.
  4. When you are on the Confirm and Pay page, you will see the following:
    • Billing Address
      • You will need to double check the billing address to ensure that it is accurate.
        Note:
      •  Unless you have previously saved your address to your profile, you will not be able to see your address.
      • It is possible to modify the billing address or use a different billing address by clicking the Edit button (optional).
        Note: In order to make sure that your updated address appears in Attendee Payments & Billing, you must update the address listed there.
    • Pay with
      • In this case, you will need to enter the CVC number of the payment card you want to use if you already have a payment card saved to your profile.
      • It is also possible to add a new debit or credit card to your account if you already have one saved in your profile or if you want to use a different card.
    • PayPal: To complete the payment process, a popup window will open; you can add a new PayPal account or select the PayPal account that you previously saved.

In the case that you paid with a credit card, please click on Confirm and Pay. In this window, you will see a confirmation message.

Conference events

No privacy policy or registration questions

If you want to register for events that are paid but do not have privacy policies or registration questions, simply follow the steps below:

Registrants within the company

  1. Become a member of a paid event by registering.
  2. When you are on the Review Order page, you will see the following:
    • It is optional for you to click on Edit Ticket to the right of the Ticket to be able to edit the information about your ticket.
    • You can view your personal email address under Email Address.
    • As part of this registration process, I acknowledge that my contact information along with any other information I provide to the host will be provided to the host and that I have read, understand, and agree to the Event Participant Terms of Use. There is no privacy notice provided by this host on their website. If you require further information, please contact the Host directly. check box.
  3. Please click on the Continue button to continue.
  4. When you are on the Confirm and Pay screen, you will see the following:
    • The address where the bill will be sent
      • It is important to confirm that the billing address is accurate before you submit the payment.
        Note: Only if your address has already been saved to your profile, will it appear on the list?
      • The option to edit or to use another billing address can be selected by clicking Edit if you wish to change it.
        Note: As soon as the address has been changed, it will be updated in Attendee Payments & Billing along with the updated address.
    • Pay with
      • You can use a payment card you already have saved to your profile to make a purchase by selecting the payment card you wish to use, and then entering the CVC number.
      • You can add a new debit or credit card to your profile if you currently have no card saved or wish to add a new card to your profile.
      • Adding a paypal account is as simple as clicking on a link in the PayPal pop-up window, choosing your saved PayPal account or creating a new one.

If the payment was made with a credit or debit card, click Confirm and Pay to complete the payment. You will be presented with a confirmation window.

External registrants

  1. Become a member of a paid event by registering.
  2. On the Review Order page, you will see the following information:
    • If you wish to make any changes to your ticket information, you may click Edit Ticket to the right of Ticket.
    • The Email Address field is where you can view the email address that you used to register.
    • You need to check the following boxes in order to proceed:
      • It is my understanding that my contact information as well as any other information that I might provide as part of this registration process will be provided to the Host, and that I have read and agree to the Event Participant Terms of Use. There is no privacy notice provided by this host. For further information, please get in touch with the Host.
      • At this event, I consent to being recorded or live-streamed, and I agree that the event host may use the images, voice, and name that I have given at this event for commercial purposes (including the use of the recordings or livestreams for public viewing on Zoom Events’ website).
        Note:
      •  You will only be able to select this checkbox if your event is being recorded or livestreamed.
      • Please check the following check boxes if you want to: (Optional) Select the check boxes you wish to:
        • The host of this event and its sponsors may contact me at any time with marketing communications.
          Note:
        •  The host-sponsor(s) will have access to your contact information if you check this box, and if you don’t check this box, your information will not be shared. In accordance with the host’s privacy policy, your contact information may be shared with sponsors and others as part of the host’s marketing campaigns.
        • If you would like to see the list of sponsors who are participating in the event, you can click the sponsors link. By clicking the available links, you will be able to view the sponsor’s privacy policy if they have provided one.
          Note:
        •  Before the start of the event, more sponsors may be added, so keep checking back for updates.
  3. Continue by clicking the Continue button.
  4. If you are on the Confirm and Pay page, you will see the following:
    • Address for billing purposes
      • You should confirm that the billing address that you have entered is correct.
        Note: Unless your address has been saved to your profile, you will not be able to see your address if you have not yet done so.
      • If you want to edit the billing address or if you would like to use a different billing address, you may click the Edit button (optional).
        Note: In Attendee Payments & Billing, the updated address will appear under the Attendee Payments & Billing section of the website.
    • Pay with
      • Select the payment card that you wish to use and enter the CVC number that has already been saved to your profile if you already have one saved.
      • The New debit or credit card option should be picked if you have not saved a payment card to your profile or if you wish to use another card.
      • PayPal: A pop-up window will appear asking you to choose whether you want to create a new PayPal account or choose the PayPal account you already have.

If the payment was made with a credit or debit card, click Confirm and Pay to complete the payment. You will see a confirmation window appear at the bottom of the page.

Privacy policy included, no registration questions

Registration for a paid conference with an uncustomizable registration process and a privacy policy is as follows:

Registrants within the company

  1. If you wish to attend a paid event, you must register for it.
  2. On the Review Order page, you will find the following information:
    • If you would like to edit the information about your ticket, you can click the Edit Ticket button to the right of Ticket.
    • You will be able to see your email address under Email Address.
    • In order to register for this event, I must select the required I have read the Event Participant Terms of Use and I acknowledge that my contact information as well as any other information I provide is subject to the host’s privacy statement. Make sure the checkbox is checked.
      Note:
    •  You can click on the link to the host’s privacy notice if you wish to find out more about the host’s privacy notices. By clicking the link(s) below, you will be able to open the Host’s Privacy Notice(s) in a new tab on your browser.
  3. Continue by clicking the Continue button.
  4. When you are on the Confirm and Pay page, you will see the following:
    • Your billing address is the address at which you will be billed
      • The Billing Address needs to be checked to ensure that it is accurate.
        Note: Unless you have already saved your address to your profile, you will not be able to see your address unless you have already saved it.
      • In the case that you wish to edit the address or change the billing address, you can click the Edit button.
        Note: You will be able to edit your address under Attendee Payments & Billing and your address will be updated as soon as you make the change.
    • Make a payment using one of the following methods:
      • Select the payment card that you wish to use if you have already saved it to your profile, then enter the CVC number of the payment card you wish to use.
      • You can select New debit or credit card from the list of options if you do not already have a payment card saved to your profile or if you would like to add a new card.
      • PayPal: Upon completing the payment, a pop-up window will appear allowing you to add a new PayPal account or select one you have already saved.

In the case that you paid with a credit card, please click on Confirm and Pay. There will be a confirmation window that appears.

External registrants

  1. Become a member of a paid event by registering.
  2. On the Review Order page, you will find the following information:
    • You can edit your ticket information by clicking on the Edit Ticket button to the right of Ticket.
    • The email address of your account can be viewed under the heading Email Address.
    • Make sure that the following check boxes are selected:
      • There is no doubt that the Event Participant Terms of Use are important to me and that I agree to read and agree to them. Furthermore, I acknowledge that any contact information provided through this registration process is subject to the Host’s Privacy Notice.
        Note:
      •  To view the links to a host’s privacy notice, you can click on Host’s Privacy Notice to be taken to the host’s privacy notice. In a new tab, you will be able to access the Host’s Privacy Notice(s) by clicking the link(s).
      • It is my consent that I may be recorded or live-streamed at this event, and that the event host may use images, voice and name of me and the event for commercial purposes (including allowing public viewing of the recording or live-stream on the Zoom Events platform and to market the event).
        Note: Only events that are going to be recorded or livestreamed are eligible for this check box
      • If you would like, you can select the following check boxes in the following order:
        • My consent is provided to the Event Host and its sponsors to send me marketing communications related to the Event.
          Note:
        •  By selecting this check box, you will be agreeing that your contact information will be shared with the host and/or sponsor if you select this check box. As stated in the host’s privacy policy, your contact information may be shared with sponsors and other third parties depending on who the host is.
        • You can view a list of all of the sponsors participating in the event by clicking the sponsors link. Clicking on the available links will allow you to view the privacy policy of the sponsor if one has been provided.
          Note: It is possible that more sponsors will be added before the event begins.
  3. Please click on the Continue button to continue.
  4. If you are on the Confirm and Pay page, you will see the following:
    • The billing address can be found at the bottom of the invoice
      • The billing address needs to be verified to ensure that it is accurate.
        Note:
      •  In order to see your address, you need to have saved it to your profile already. If you have not, it will not appear.
      • It is possible to edit the billing address or to use a different billing address by clicking the Edit button if you want to make any changes.
        Note: It will be updated with the updated address under the Attendee Payments and Billing section of the website.
    • Pay with
      • It is possible to use the card that you already have saved to your profile if you already have one saved to your profile. Then you just need to enter the CVC number for the card.
      • It is possible to use a different payment card if you do not already have one in your profile or if you want to use a different card if you do not already have one saved.
      • PayPal: There will be a pop-up window that will allow you to choose a PayPal account to complete payment from, or add a new PayPal account to complete the transaction.

In the case that you paid with a credit card, please click on Confirm and Pay. There will be a confirmation window that appears.

Registration questions included, no privacy policy

If you would like to register for a paid conference that asks you questions regarding registration, but does not have a privacy policy, please do the following:

Registrants from within the organization

  1. It is possible to register for an event that requires a payment.
  2. When you are reviewing an order, you will see the following information:
    • Please click Edit Ticket, which is located to the right of Ticket, if you wish to edit the information related to your ticket.
    • You can view your email address under the Email Address section.
    • As part of the registration process, you will be asked the following questions:
      • The registration questions that you will need to answer in order to confirm your registration will be displayed when you click on the Confirm Registration button. Please take the time to answer the registration questions.
      • You have the choice to either answer the questions on the registration form or leave them blank when the questions are optional.
    • I acknowledge that my contact information, and any other information that I provide as part of the registration process will be given to the Host, and I have read and agree to the Event Participant Terms of Use. There is no privacy notice provided by this host. In order to obtain further information, please contact the Host directly. There is a checkbox to be checked.
  3. Please click on the Continue button to continue.
  4. Confirmation and payment will appear on the following window:
    • Your billing address is the address where your bill will be sent
      • Make sure that the billing address is correct before you proceed.
        Note: It will only appear in your profile if you already saved your address as part of your information.
      • You can use the Edit button if you would like to make changes to the address or if you would like to use a different billing address.
        Note: Under Attendee Payments & Billing, the new address will be reflected under the address listed under Attendee Payments & Billing.
    • Pay with
      • The first thing you should do is select a payment card from your profile that you wish to use, then enter the CVC number associated with the payment card.
      • It is possible for you to add new debit or credit cards to your profile if you do not have one but want to use one that isn’t already on your profile.
      • PayPal: Upon completion of the payment, a pop-up window will appear; you will have the option to add a new PayPal account or select your saved PayPal account.

In the case that you paid with a credit card, please click on Confirm and Pay. As soon as the confirmation window appears, you will be asked to confirm.

External registrants

  1. Become a member of a paid event by registering.
  2. In the Review Order page, you will find the following information:
    • If you would like to make changes to the information on your ticket, click Edit Ticket to the right of Ticket.
    • View your email address by clicking on Email Address at the top of this page.
    • As part of the registration process, please answer the following questions:
      • If you are asked to complete the registration questions before clicking Confirm Registration, you will be required to answer the registration questions until you have answered all the required registration questions.
      • You have the option to choose whether or not to answer the registration questions if they are optional. If they are optional, you can leave the answer fields blank if you wish.
    • Check the boxes that need to be checked:
      • As part of this registration process, I acknowledge that the host of the event may receive my contact information, along with other information I provide as part of this registration process. By accepting the terms of use, I agree to be bound by them. There is no privacy notice provided by this host. If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact the host.
        • (Optional) You may click the link or links to the Host’s Privacy Notice for more information about the Host’s privacy policies. To view the Host’s Privacy Notice in a new tab, please click on the following link(s).
      • The event host may record or live-stream the event, and I consent to the use of my image, voice, and name for purposes of commercial advertising on Zoom Events (including for public viewing of the recording or livestream) related to this event.
        Note:
      •  If you are planning to record or livestream your event, then this check box only applies to those events.
      • Please check the following check boxes if you want to add them to your list:
        • As part of my agreement with the Event Host and its sponsors, I agree to receive marketing communications from them in the future.
          Please note that by checking this box, you are opting in to allow the host and sponsor(s) to share your contact information with each other. As stated in the host’s privacy policy, your contact information may be shared with sponsors and others as necessary.

          • View the list of sponsors participating in the event by clicking on the sponsors link on the event’s page. The privacy policy of a sponsor may be viewed by clicking the link provided if the sponsor has provided one.
            Note:
          •  There may be more sponsors added to the event before it begins, so keep an eye out for updates.
  3. Please click the Continue button to continue.
  4. In the Confirm and Pay window, you will see the following information:
    • Billing Address
      • Make sure that you have entered the correct billing address in your order.
        Note: It will only appear if your address has already been saved to your profile and you have already saved it to your profile.
      • To edit either the billing address or to select a different billing address, click Edit if you wish to do so.
        Note: This address will be updated under Attendee Payments & Billing in order to reflect the new address that has been entered.
    • Pay with
      • You can also select what payment card you want to use if you already have one saved in your profile, and then enter the CVC number that you have saved.
      • Whenever you select New debit card or credit card, you will be able to choose a debit or credit card that does not already exist in your profile.
      • A pop-up window will appear; select your PayPal account or add a new one to complete the payment process. After you complete the payment, a PayPal account will be created.

If the payment was made with a credit or debit card, click Confirm and Pay to complete the payment. You will see a confirmation window appear at the bottom of the page.

Privacy policy and registration questions included

Registration for paid conference events with a privacy policy and custom registration questions can be done by following these steps:

Registrants within the company

  1. Become a member of a paid event by registering.
  2. On the Review Order page, you will find the following information:
    • (Optional) To edit your ticket information, click on Edit Ticket, located to the right of the Ticket box.
    • The email address that you are using can be viewed under the Email Address field.
    • In the Registration Questions section, you will find the following questions:
      • It is required that you answer the registration questions before clicking on the Confirm Registration button when you are asked required registration questions.
      • Whenever there is an option to answer questions during registration, you must choose between answering them or leaving the answer fields blank.
    • Please make sure that the following check boxes are selected:
      • As part of this registration process, I acknowledge that the Host’s Privacy Notice may apply to any and all information that I provide during the registration process, including my personal information as part of the registration process, as part of the Event Participant Terms of Use.
      • Having read this statement, I hereby consent to the possibility that my image, voice, and name can be used for commercial purposes by the event host (including to provide public access to viewings of any recordings or livestreams that may be recorded at this event).
      • Please click the link(s) at the bottom of this page that lead to the information regarding the host’s privacy notice(s). To view the Host’s Privacy Notice in a new tab, click the link or links below and it will open in a new window.
  3. Please click on the Continue button to continue.
  4. In the Confirm and Pay window, you will see the following information:
    • Billing Address
      • It is very important that you confirm that the billing address is accurate before proceeding.
        Note: If you have already saved your address to your profile, then your address will appear on the list only if you have already saved it.
      • If you wish to edit the billing address or use a different billing address than the one you have entered, please click Edit.
        Note: Upon updating the address under Attendee Payments & Billing, the new address would be reflected under the Attendee Payments & Billing section.
    • Pay with
      • Select the payment card you wish to use from your profile and enter its CVC number if you already have it saved to your profile.
      • The New debit or credit card option is available if you do not have a payment card saved to your profile or would like to use a different payment card.
      • PayPal: Adding a new PayPal account will open a pop-up window where you will be able to select your saved PayPal account or add a new PayPal account.

If the payment was made with a credit or debit card, click Confirm and Pay to complete the payment. You will see a confirmation window appear at the bottom of the page.

External registrants

  1. Join a paid event by registering for it.
  2. When you are on the Review Order page, you will see the following:
    • If you wish to edit your ticket information, you can click Edit Ticket to the right of Ticket.
    • It is possible to view your e-mail address under the heading Email Address.
      The email addresses of the ticket recipients should be entered if you have multiple tickets.
    • As part of the registration process, you will be asked the following questions:
      • Before being able to click Confirm Registration, you will be required to complete all the required registration questions that appear on the registration screen.
      • You may choose whether or not to answer registration questions when they are optional. In addition, you can leave the answer fields blank when the questions are required.
    • Check the boxes that need to be checked:
      • My consent has been given to the Terms and Conditions governing Event Participant Use and I hereby acknowledge that any information I provide to the Host during the registration process, such as my name, address, e-mail address, or any other information, is subject to the Host’s privacy notice.
        • It is possible to obtain the link(s) to the Host’s Privacy Notice(s) by clicking on the icon(s) related to the Host’s Privacy Notice(s). By clicking the link(s), you will be able to open any of the Host’s Privacy Notices in a new window on your browser.
      • My consent is given for my image, voice, and name to be recorded or live-streamed at this event, and that I may be used for commercial purposes on Zoom Events (including for public viewing of the recording or livestream at the event) by the event host.
        Note: The recording or live-streaming check box only applies to events which are going to be recorded or livestreamed.
      • (Optional) You can select one or more of the following check boxes based on your preferences:
        • The Event Host and its sponsors may contact me with marketing communications regarding the Event Host’s events.
          Note: In this case, if you check the box, you will give your permission to the host and the sponsor(s) to share your contact information with them. There is a possibility that the host may share your contact information with sponsors and other third parties in accordance with the host’s privacy policies.
        • If you would like to view a list of all the sponsors who are participating in the event, please click the sponsors link. By clicking on the available links in the sponsor’s privacy policy, you will be able to see the policy if the sponsor has provided one.
        • Note: Before the event begins, there may be more sponsors added to the list.
  3. Continue by clicking on the next button.
  4. When you are on the Confirm and Pay window, you will see the following:
    • Billing Address
      • The Billing Address must be confirmed to be the right one.
        Note: As long as your address has already been saved to your profile, your address will appear in the search results.
      • You have the option of editing the billing address or of using a different billing address by clicking Edit, if you want to do so.
        Note: As soon as the updated address is entered under Attendee Payments & Billing, the old address will be overwritten with the new one.
    • Pay with
      • Select the payment card you wish to use if you already have one saved to your profile, and then enter the CVC number of the payment card you wish to use.
      • You may choose New debit or credit card if you do not already have one saved to your profile, or if you want to use a different card from the one you have saved.
      • PayPal: You will be presented with a pop-up window asking you to add the PayPal account you wish to use, or to select the PayPal account that you saved previously.

If the payment was made with a credit or debit card, click Confirm and Pay to complete the payment. You will see a confirmation window appear at the bottom of the page.
