Overview
Various applications are published on the app marketplace. When a user attempts to use an application that requires administrator pre-approval, an approval request email is sent to the administrator. The administrator must review the request and approve or deny it.
The following approval request email will be sent.
approve/reject the request
To approve or deny a user’s request, follow these steps:
- Click ” here” in the body of the email.
- If you are not signed in, the sign-in page is displayed. Sign in as account owner or admin user.
- The application for which approval has been requested is displayed.
- Click Requests to see the email address of the user who requested the approval. Hear why you want to use it as needed.
- ” Pre-approve and then click to accept the”. Click Reject to deny. By default, all users are allowed to install.
- Pre-approved apps can be viewed under Apps on Account> Pre-approved Apps.
Limit the scope of pre-approval
By default, pre-approving your app will allow all users to install your app. You can limit the range if you want.
- ” Apps on Account “> ” Pre-approved Apps move to” to display the application.
- Click the edit icon next to “All”.
- Turn the toggle off (gray).
- Add the user or group you want to give permission to. You can also mix users and groups to grant permissions. Click ✖ to close the window when you are done.
- The display changes to “Selected”.
Withdraw pre-approval
If you want to withdraw your pre-approved app later, follow these steps:
- ” Apps on Account “> ” Pre-approved Apps move to” to display the application.
- ” Action of” click toggle.
- ” Turn off and click”.
- The application is removed from the Pre-approved Apps
