In order to use chroma key in Zoom, you need to be in front of the green equipment. It can be a special device or a large sheet of A0 paper, cloth. After you have equipped the chroma key, you need to set up the platform for the correct image:
- Go to Zoom settings, go to Virtual background;
- Check the box next to the words “I have a green screen.”
Often, this function is by default, but it is still worth checking in order for the picture to be transmitted with high quality.
Now, during the installation, during the conference, there will be a broadcast with a smooth picture, without distortion. This is a great solution for weaker computers and laptops.
How to make a background without Chroma key in Zoom
To make a background without a chroma key in Zoom and not bother looking for it, you can sit by the wall, which will be a solid color. The program automatically selects the color, but if it is incorrect, you can edit it manually:
- Go to Zoom settings;
- Go to Virtual background;
- Click on a color.
In the window that opens, select a new color.
This is how you can use the virtual background for Zoom without chroma key. In the same place in the settings, you can upload new pictures in order not to use the standard ones, to do this, click on the “+” next to the proposed images.
We recommend choosing a high resolution, but pay attention to their weight, the picture should weigh no more than 1.6 – 1.8 GB in order not to overload the computer process.
