During the setup of a conference event, a Zoom Events host will add sponsor information to that event, then once the event has been set up, you will be able to edit this information and add additional information. So you will have the ability to edit sponsor information after the event has been set up. Before the edits are submitted to the host, it is the host’s responsibility to review those edits and approve or reject them before they are submitted to the host for approval.

Prerequisites for editing sponsor details
- Zoom desktop client:
- Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
- macOS: 5.7.6 or higher

Note :
- The Zoom Events application is dependent on Windows’ Webview package for Windows platform; though it does support Zoom Events in version 5.7.6, it may result in those attending having a blank lobby experience, even when the Zoom Event program is installed.
- It is highly recommended that all users update their Zoom desktop client/mobile application to the latest version, to ensure that they have access to the latest Zoom Events and Webinar features.
How to edit your sponsor details
- It is very easy to accept the host‘s invitation to change the sponsor details on your profile by clicking on the following steps:
- In order to edit your sponsor information, you will need to open the host’s invitation emailed to you:
- In your inbox, you will find an invitation from the host where you will be able to edit your sponsor details.
- By clicking the “Click here” link, you will be directed to the website.
When you click on Edit Sponsor, you will be directed to a page where you can make changes.
- From the Notification Center, you can access the invitation sent by the host so that you can edit the sponsor details:
- Join Zoom Events by signing in with your Zoom account.
- Here you will find a link to the Notification Center that you can access.
- Click on the Attendees tab on the left side of the screen.
- Here is where you can find the notification of the invitation from the host.
- You can edit the sponsor details by clicking on Edit Sponsor Details.
The Edit Sponsor page will be displayed and you will be redirected there.
- In order to edit your sponsor information, you will need to open the host’s invitation emailed to you:
- The following sponsor details need to be edited in order to make your sponsorship more effective:
- Sponsor’s Logo: You can upload a logo to the sponsor logo by hovering your mouse over the sponsor logo and clicking on the edit icon next to the sponsor logo. The sponsor’s logo can also be removed by hovering your mouse over it and clicking on the delete icon located on the left side of the logo.
- Note :
- In order to make the image as large as possible, it must be 320×238 pixels in size. Sponsors are only allowed to use JPG, JPEG, and PNG image formats with a maximum size of 2MB.
- As an event creator, you have the option of resizing all uploaded images to fit into the image window, as well as uploading a specific image or searching for an image to upload manually. After an image has been uploaded, it is also possible to resize the image after it has been uploaded.
- Sponsor’s Name: You will need to enter your name here.
- Sponsor’s images: In order to upload new images, click the +Add Image button at the bottom of the page.
- You can upload an image to an existing sponsor image by hovering your mouse over the image and clicking the edit icon located on the sponsor image to the right of the image. It is also possible to hover your mouse over a preexisting image on the sponsor’s image and click the delete icon to delete it.
Note: I recommend that you use 1920×1080 pixels as the dimensions of your image. The maximum size of an image is 10 MB for JPG/JPEG/PNG files. - Sponsor Video: If you would like to feature a video, you will need to click the + Add Video button.
- Note : It is recommended that videos not exceed 60 seconds in length. MP4 files are the only types of video files that are allowed to have a maximum size of 50MB.
- Sponsor Description: It would be helpful if you could provide a few details about yourself or a brief introduction.
- Meet and Chat with Attendees: Make sure that your list of Sponsor Representatives is in the appropriate place under Meet and Chat with Attendees:

- Adding a new representative for a sponsor is as simple as clicking the +Add Sponsor Representative button. Once this has been completed, the sponsor representative’s information needs to be entered.
- You can edit or remove a sponsor representative by clicking on the ellipses next to their name, then clicking Edit to make changes to the details of the sponsor representative, or clicking Remove to remove the sponsor representative altogether.
- Downloadable Material: For attendees to be able to download a PDF file, click Upload to add it to the agenda. The sponsor’s page will include a link to this file.
- Note :
- There is a maximum file size of 15 MB that you can upload for a PDF file.
- There is a limit of five PDF files that can be uploaded at one time.
- You will be able to submit your sponsorship details once you have finished editing them.
Changes made to your account will be notified to the host as soon as possible. - (Optional) You can view your updated sponsor details by clicking View Submitted Sponsor Details at the bottom of the page.
- It is also possible to view all your edit submissions by clicking View All Submitted Responses (Optional).
- The details of your sponsor will be updated as soon as you click on View.
- If you would like to edit the details of your sponsor, please click Edit.
How to review edit rejection details
Your edits can be rejected by the host if they do not meet his standards. The details of your sponsor rejections can be reviewed and edited by following the following steps:
- In order to edit your sponsor details, you will need to find the host’s rejection notification and follow these steps:
- To edit your sponsor details, you will have to access the host’s rejection notification from your email in order to do so:
- In your email inbox, you will find an email with the host’s rejection of your submitted sponsorship updates in your inbox. Open that email.
- To view the details, click the View Details link at the bottom of the page.
You will then be redirected to the Sponsor page, where you will be able to review the message from the host and edit your sponsor information.
- The host has sent you an invitation to edit your sponsor through the Notification Center, and you can access this invitation from there:
- Join Zoom Events by signing in with your Zoom account.
- The Notification Center can be accessed by clicking here.
- The Attendees tab will appear once you click on it.
- Click on the view details button in the rejection notification that was sent out regarding your session edit submission.
In the event that you need to edit your sponsor, you will see the host’s message (if applicable) and your sponsor’s message. - You will find the View All Submitted Responses link in the upper left corner of the page.
- If your submission has been rejected, click the Edit button to the right of it.
Upon clicking this link, you will be redirected to the Sponsor page where you can make any necessary changes to your sponsor details.
