Setting notifications in OnZoom Notification Center
As part of the OnZoom Notification Center, OnZoom will notify you of activity related to your events and tickets through an email or push notification. In the Notification Center, you can update your notifications settings at any time if you wish.

Prerequisites for notifications in the OnZoom Notification Center
- Desktop client for Zoom
- Windows: version 5.6.3 or higher
- It is recommended that you use macOS version 5.6.3 or higher
- You can choose to become a Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education member
How to differentiate notification settings (email or push notifications)
The activities of these types can be notified to you through email and/or push notifications.
It is possible for you to receive notifications related to your host when:
- Attendees have requested a refund for their tickets
- My event tickets are about to sell out for one of my upcoming events
- I am making updates to my events on a regular basis
- There are active updates on a fundraiser for my event that I am organizing
Attendee-related notifications can be sent to you in the following situations:
- I have received updates regarding the events I have registered for
- It has been a while since I have rated an event that I attended
- In relation to an event I attended, there are updates to a fundraiser that is going on
- I am able to access recordings of the events I have attended in the past
- There is an update about one of my favorite events that I am interested in
- The situation regarding gifted tickets has been updated
- My active subscriptions are being updated and reminded of the fact that they are active
- It is possible to receive invitations to events as well as tickets to special events
- It has been a while since I attended an event, and there are some updates
- There is a survey that needs to be filled out for me as part of the event
- I am an alternative host or panelist at an event where there are updates about my participation in the event
- My registration for an event that I have registered for is 24 hours away

Miscellaneous notifications can be sent to you when:
- A number of announcements and updates have been made about OnZoom recently
How to manage the Notification Center
It is possible to view all the notifications that have been sent to you through the Notification Center. The red dot in your profile picture indicates that you have an alert regarding one of the notification types that are enabled for you to receive, based on the type of notification you want to receive.
View your notifications
Open the Notification Center in order to view your notifications:
- Log in to your OnZoom account.
- You can access your profile picture by clicking on it.
- Click on the Notifications tab.
You will now be able to see your notifications in the Notification Center.
Manage your notifications
You can manage your notifications in the following ways:
- Please sign in to OnZoom.
- You can access your profile picture by clicking on it.
- Click on the Notifications tab.
- Located to the right of the notification, you will find an ellipsis that you can click to manage your notification:
- Mark as Read:This will change the notification status from unread to read.
- Delete this Notification: In the Notification Center, this notification is removed from the list of notifications.
- Unsubscribe from this Host: You will no longer receive any kind of notifications from this host in the future.
- In the Notification Center, you will find an option to change the notification status of all messages to read by clicking the Mark All as Read button at the top of the page.
- If you want to delete all the read notifications in the Notification Center, click on the Delete All Read button at the top of the page.
Set your notification options
Here is how you can select the types of notifications you would like to receive and how you would like to receive them:
- Please sign in to OnZoom.
- You can access your profile picture by clicking on it.
- Click on the Notifications tab.
- Go to the Settings page by clicking on it.
You will be presented with the Notification Settings window. - Select the check boxes next to the types of notifications that you want to receive under the OnZoom and/or Email columns.
- (Optional) If you don’t want to receive notifications from these types, deselect them from the check boxes next to them.
- Please click on the Save button to save your changes.
Unsubscribe from notifications from a specific Host
Unsubscribing from notifications from a specific host can be done as follows:
- You will need to sign in to OnZoom.
- Click on the picture that represents your profile.
- Click on the Notifications tab.
- Click the ellipses to the left of a notification that you wish to block from the Host, and then find the notification that you wish to block.
- Unsubscribe from this host by clicking the Unsubscribe button.
Unsubscribe from notifications from a specific Host through the unsubscribe link
Through the unsubscribe link in the email notification of a specific Host, you can unsubscribe from notifications from that Host.
- Log into your email account or open your email application in order to check your email.
- You will receive an email notification from OnZoom. Please open it.
- Click the Unsubscribe from [Host’s name] link located at the bottom of the email to unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Resubscribe to notifications from a specific Host
Resubscribing to notifications from a specific host can be accomplished by following these steps:
- You will need to sign in to OnZoom in order to get started.
- If you are logged in, click on your profile picture.
- Click the Notifications button.
- Then click on Settings.
- Find the name of the host you wish to resubscribe to under Hosts I’ve Unsubscribed From, and then click on the * icon to the right of the name next to the host you wish to resubscribe to.
- To subscribe to this host again, click on the Resubscribe button.
You will no longer be able to see the name of the host in the list of hosts you have unsubscribed from. - Save the file by clicking the Save button.
