Credit cards or debit cards can be used to purchase tickets for Zoom Events. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can use a credit card or debit card to pay for event tickets.

As part of your Zoom Events account, you can also securely store credit card and debit card information.

Prerequisites for using a payment card to buy a ticket

• Zoom desktop client:
  • Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
  • MacOS: 5.7.6 or higher
• Zoom mobile client
  • IOS: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Android: 5.7.6 or higher
• Basic user

Notes:

• Despite version 5.7.6 supporting Zoom Events, it may cause attendees to experience a blank lobby experience due to a dependency with Windows’ Webview package.
• Please update your Zoom desktop client/mobile application to the latest version for access to Zoom Events and Webinar features.

How to purchase Zoom Events tickets for the first time

Your Zoom Events account allows you to save up to two payment cards.

A Save this payment method for future use option will appear when you select your payment method when your Zoom Events account does not have a payment card saved. Your Zoom Events account will be saved when you select this option.

Pay with a new debit or credit card

Selecting a new debit or credit card will result in the following:

1. Name and information about the card holder must be entered.
2. If you want to store this payment method for future use, select the Save this payment method for future use checkbox.
   Note:
3. Your Zoom Events account will be updated once you select this option.
4. Click the Pay button.
   On the button, you will see the total amount.

Pay with a saved debit or credit card

Selecting a saved debit or credit card will result in the following:

1. Enter the CVC number of the payment card.
2. Pay by clicking the button.
   The button will display the total amount.

Pay with a debit or credit card through PayPal

You will be directed to PayPal’s checkout page if you choose a debit or credit card (Powered by PayPal) as the payment method:

1. Please enter the information required for your credit/debit card.
2. The billing address needs to be entered here.
3. The information you provide will be used to contact you.
4. Please click on the Continue as a Guest button to continue.

How to purchase tickets after the first-time purchase with a credit card

Adding a credit card to your Zoom Events account will streamline and simplify the process of buying a ticket. This can be done either during the checkout process or manually.

Pay with a saved debit or credit card

If you have saved a payment card, you will see the following:

1. Enter the CVC number of the payment card.
2. Click the Pay button.
   On the button, you will see the total amount.
