Payment methods for Zoom Events Attendees
PayPal Express Checkout or credit/debit cards are accepted for Zoom Events payments. Depending on the host, there may be different payment options available.
During checkout, you will see either one or both of the following payment methods depending on what the host has enabled:
- Payment by credit/debit card
- Checkout with PayPal Express

Prerequisites for payment methods for attendees
- Zoom desktop client:
- Windows:Â 5.7.6Â or higher
- MacOS:Â 5.7.6Â or higher
- Zoom mobile client
- IOS:Â 5.7.6Â or higher
- Android:Â 5.7.6Â or higher
- Basic user
Notes:
- Despite version 5.7.6 supporting Zoom Events, it may cause attendees to experience a blank lobby experience due to a dependency with Windows’ Webview package.
- Please update your Zoom desktop client/mobile application to the latest version for access to Zoom Events and Webinar features.
How to purchase a ticket
Note:
For a paid event, the registration process and sold-to address must be completed before the payment method is entered.

Purchase ticket after the first time
The process of purchasing a ticket will be easier and more convenient if you have saved a payment method to your Zoom Events account during the checkout process.
How to add payment methods to your Zoom Events account
Payment methods can be added and/or saved in your account to speed up and simplify the checkout process.
A maximum of two payment cards can be saved to your account.
You can add payment cards by:
- When you are checking out
- You can access your billing information by going to your account’s billing page
Save a payment card during the checkout process
If you choose to Save this payment method for future purchases, you will have the option during the checkout process. If you select this option, your Zoom Events account will save the payment method used at checkout.
Add a payment card in your account’s billing section
Your account can be linked to a payment card by following these steps:
- Zoom Events can be accessed by signing in.
- To view your profile picture, click the picture in the upper right corner.
- To view attendee payments and billing, click Attendee Payments & Billing.
- To add a credit/debit card, click + Add Payment Method Management.
- Input the name and credit card information of the card holder.
- Save the changes.
- The billing address for the card should be entered under Billing Address.
- Save the file.
Link a PayPal account
Your PayPal account can be added by following these steps:
- Zoom Events can be accessed by logging in.
- Your profile picture can be found in the top-right corner of the page.
- Paying for attendees & billing can be found under Attendee Payments & Billing.
- Click + Link PayPal Account under Payment Method Management.
PayPal will redirect you to its website. - Connect your PayPal account with Zoom Events by following the instructions and entering the required information.
Your Zoom Events account’s billing page will appear after you link a PayPal account.
How to manage payment methods
Remove a saved card
Your saved cards can be removed by following these steps:
- Zoom Events can be accessed by signing in.
- To access your profile picture, click the picture in the upper right corner.
- You will find Attendee Payments & Billing under Attendee Payments & Billing.
- You can delete a card by clicking the ellipsis in the top-right corner.
- Remove the card by clicking it.
Unlink a PayPal account
PayPal accounts can be unlinked by following these steps:
- Log in to Zoom Events.
- The profile picture can be found in the top-right corner of the page.
- Attendee Payments & Billing can be accessed by clicking this link.
- To delete a card, click the ellipses in the upper-right corner.
- Select the PayPal account you wish to remove.
