How to resolve Intel Iris Integrated Graphics issues in Zoom

It is likely that when using the Zoom desktop client, users may experience system crashes or freezes due to technical limitations associated with the Intel Iris Integrated Graphics graphics. Below is a step-by-step guide for resolving this issue:

  1. Login to the Zoom desktop client by clicking the link below.
  2. You will be directed to your profile picture, in which case you will be directed to your settings.
  3. Go to the video tab and click on it.
  4. Then, click on Advanced.
  5. To select Direct3D9 as the rendering method in Video Rendering Method, click on the drop-down menu and choose it.
  6. You will then need to select the Zoom desktop client, close the Settings window, and restart it.
