MXL AC360Z-Hardware Issues in Zoom App
The MXL AC-360-Z microphones purchased between August 17 and September 26, 2018 have defects found on the chip on board. This bad chip is not recognized in the Zoom room for Mac and may not work properly.

If your device is not affected
- The MXL AC360Z is displayed as a USB audio codec (number) on the Zoom room controller interface.
- Your MXL AC360Z is displayed as MXL AC360Z (0) in the controller interface of the Zoom room, and the MXL AC360Z is connected to the PC zoom room (Windows).
If your device is functionally affected
If the MXL AC360Z is connected to the Zoom Room for Mac (MacOS), your device is functionally affected. Contact MXL for replacement unit.
At this time, it is not possible to use a combination of USB audio codec (number) and MXL AC360Z (0) with the same zoom room settings on both Mac and Windows. MXL AC404Z and MXL AC360Z can be mixed with both descriptors as USB audio codecs (numbers).
