Automated enrollment for Mac
Only devices that have already been deployed will be affected by this.
- In order to set up your Apple Business Manager (ABM) or Apple School Manager (ASM), follow the steps below.
- Using the Device Management tool, click on the Device Certificates and Apple Tokens tab.
- As soon as you have created your server in ABM/ ASM, assign eligible devices to that server.
- The ZDM Overview page can be refreshed by clicking the Refresh button.
- Using devices that have already been deployed to the server, it is recommended that you factory reset all devices that you assigned to the server. Depending on whether you are currently enrolled in a mobile device management tool and if you are looking to switch to one, you may be able to achieve this using another.
- After selecting the language, network, and other options, you should be able to see a Remote Management screen at the bottom of the screen.
- At this point, the process is complete once you have reached the home screen. It will take just a few minutes for the Zoom Rooms app to automatically download and launch on your device.

- The names of your Macs should be renamed to correspond with the names of the Zoom Rooms. You can find out what room the device belongs to by searching for its serial number in the Devices page, then checking which room the device belongs to once you have found it. As soon as you have renamed the device, you will be able to assign it to the room much more easily.
- The Macs should be assigned to the rooms in which they belong. As opposed to using the Rooms tab or the In-Room Edit page to do this, the easiest way is to go to the Devices tab.
- As soon as a new version of Zoom Rooms is released, you should upgrade the app. On the Account or Location pages, you have the option of upgrading devices in groups.
- The operating system (OS) of your Mac should be upgraded. On the Account or Location page, you will be able to upgrade this in groups.
Manual enrollment for Mac
- It is necessary to upload a certificate for Apple’s Device Management (ZDM) by clicking on Device Management. It is not necessary to have a token to enroll manually.
- In step 2 of Apple Individual Enrollment, you will see a link to click on if you would like to enroll your device.
- If you have received an access code, please enter it here. Within a few minutes, Zoom Rooms will automatically download to your device and launch on your device.
