Enabling device operation time for Zoom Phone Appliances

After business hours, Zoom Phone Appliances can be set to operate in power saving mode by account owners and admins by setting the appliance operation time for Zoom Phone Appliances.

Notes:

  • Zoom Phone Appliances can be set individually by the Device Management account, but the device operation time is a device-level setting that can be selected via the device management account only.

Prerequisites for enabling device operation time for Zoom Phone Appliances

  • Privileges as an owner or administrator
  • Appliances for Zoom Phone

Instructions

  1. Admins can edit account settings by logging into the Zoom web portal.
  2. You can access the Device List by clicking Device Management in the navigation panel.
  3. The Account Settings button can be found in the top-right corner.
  4. Check that Zoom Phone Appliances are enabled for Device Operation Time.
  5. Click the toggle to enable the setting if it is disabled. Verify the change by clicking Enable if a verification dialog appears.
    • Set the start and end times for your devices in the Set the operation time for your devices box.
    • Make sure your device is operating during the days you desire.
  6. Click the lock icon, and then select Lock to confirm it. This option is only available if you want this setting to be mandatory for the entire account. To do so, click the lock icon, then click Lock to confirm it.
