Maximum ticket capacity for Zoom Events
In order for event tickets to be sold in the event, you must have a Zoom Events license that allows attendees to attend your event. Regardless of how many participants your Zoom Meetings license permits, your Zoom Events ticket capacity does not depend on how many participants are allowed for your Zoom Meetings license.
As well as that, the number of sessions in a Zoom Event is equal to the number of sessions in the Zoom Events license. In a Webinar or Meeting session that is being hosted by an Event Host who has a Zoom Events 1,000 license, they will be able to have up to 1,000 Attendees in their session. Even if the Host has a Zoom Events license greater than 1,000, a Meeting session has a maximum capacity of 1,000 Attendees, regardless of how many attendees the Host has.
Note: As far as the capacity of a meeting is concerned, when a meeting is scheduled outside of Zoom Events, the capacity can be determined by the Zoom Meeting license capacity.
Ticket capacity is determined by the number of special roles and attendees who participate in the event.
Example:
- You will be able to sell 1,000 event tickets with your Zoom Events license, but you will only be able to sell 500 tickets with your Meeting license. Therefore, you will be able to sell 1,000 tickets for both Zoom Event types-single session and conference.
- The maximum number of attendees that you can have in your Zoom Events license will be 500, and the maximum number of attendees you can have in your Zoom Meeting license will be 1,000, so your event ticket capacity for both Zoom Event types–single-sessions and conferences –will only be 500.
