Requiring encryption when joining a Zoom meeting
The Zoom meeting host has the option to set Require Encryption for 3rd Party Endpoints (H323/SIP) by toggle button so that this feature can be selected by members on the Zoom account level or by the meeting host on the Zoom meeting page. Whenever SIP/H.323 devices are dialed into the meeting via the SIP/H.323 interface, the encryption will be required for the security of the meeting.
How to connect to an encrypted meeting with a H.323/SIP device
If you receive this message, you have two options when it comes to connecting to this meeting:
- The SIP/H.323 device should be configured to enable encryption
- In the meeting settings, go to the Require Encryption for 3rd Party Endpoints (H323/SIP) and turn off the requirement. Take a look at how you can disable this setting by finding out how to do it.
