As part of Group Management, account owners or administrators can control which users are allowed to use the Room Connector add-on to invite SIP/H.323 room systems to their meetings in order to use the Room Connector add-on. There is some value in managing the use of Cloud Room Connector Ports in order to make sure they are available to those users who need them.

How to allow users to invite a Room Connector Device to a meeting
If an account has a Cloud Room Connector license, all users on the account will be able to invite a device to a meeting if they have a SIP/H.323 license on the account. There is, however, the option to disable this setting for specific user groups, so that they don’t receive invitations to meetings from SIP/H.323 devices if they do not want them to. If only certain users need to use the CRC port, then this can be helpful in reserving the port.
A user group can be enabled or disabled to use the CRC feature in the following manner:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal by entering your email address and password.
- Select User Management from the navigation panel, then click Groups from the drop-down menu.
- From the list of groups, click the name of the group in question, and then click the Settings tab in the menu that appears.
- Select the Meetings tab on the left side of the screen.
- Allow users to invite a Room Connector Device to a meeting by enabling or disabling the option under In Meeting (Advanced).
How to enable Show H.323/SIP device list
It is important to note that when you enable the Show H.323/SIP device list setting, you will be able to choose from a list of rooms within the SIP/H.323 device directory while in a conference call when calling out to a SIP/H.323 device. This option is enabled by default for all users, but if a specific user group needs to be disabled, it can be enabled for that group.
A user group’s settings can be enabled or disabled by following these steps:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal by entering your email address and password.
- You will find the User Management section in the navigation panel, followed by the Groups section.
- From the list of groups, click the name of the relevant group, then click the Settings tab.
- Select the Meeting tab from the menu.
- The Show H.323/SIP device list option is available under In Meeting (Advanced), where you can enable or disable it.
Note: It must also be enabled if users wish to be able to invite a Room Connector Device to a meeting when enabling this setting. - You can enable Only the host of the meeting can view the H.323/SIP device list if you would like only the meeting host to be able to view the list of devices in the meeting.
Note :
This setting must be enabled in the settings in order for it to be able to display the H.323/SIP device list.
