The following is a description of the standard system configuration for the virtual room connector instance.

Default configuration

It should be noted that the Virtual Room VM (packaged as OVF) comes with the following default configuration:

  • CPU Cores: 4
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Hard disk: 100GB
  • OS: CentOS 7.6

SIP/H.323 connection resource requirements

A H.323/SIP device connection requires the following additional resources:

  • 2 CPU cores
  • 200MB memory
  • 512k-1920k bandwidth

Note: Virtual Room Connectors can be connected to as many as 15 servers simultaneously through H.323/SIP. If you want to increase the number of simultaneous connections, you will need to deploy an additional Room Connector, as well as a virtual load balancer for Virtual Room Connectors.
