How to change the language of Zoom meeting invitation emails

This article will show you how to send Zoom meeting invitations in different languages.
The language change method differs for each of the following three types of scheduling methods, so set the language according to the intended use.

Scheduling method

-Create a Zoom meeting with the calendar extension (Google Calendar, O365, etc.)
・ Create a Zoom meeting with the app
・ Create a Zoom meeting on the Zoom portal site

How to change the language of the invitation

When creating a Zoom meeting in Google Calendar or Outlook

  1.  Go to https://zoom.us/profile .
  2. Scroll to the footer.
  3. Click Edit to the right of the language .
  4. Select the language you want to send in the invitation. Here, “Japanese” is selected.
  5. Click Save Changes .
  6. Create a meeting from your calendar.
  7. An invitation will be created automatically in the language selected in 3.

When creating a Zoom meeting in the app

  1. Change the language of the app.
  2. Click the [^] on the taskbar, move the cursor to the Zoom icon, and right-click.
  3. [Switching of language] and align the cursor, you will see a list of available languages.
  4. Select the language you want to change.
  5. The app will restart.
  6. Create a meeting from [Schedule] on the app screen .
  7. An invitation will be created automatically in the language selected in step 4.

When creating a Zoom meeting on the Zoom portal site

  1. To schedule a meeting ] Click to access to the schedule creation screen.
  2. Select the language at the bottom right.
    1. The page refreshes.
    2. Enter the required items for the meeting and click Save .
    3. ” The participants invited in the” field [to copy the invitation] and click.
    4. Paste it in an email and send an invitation.
    ★ Reference
    When participants from overseas participate by telephone, the telephone number for participation differs depending on the country, so follow the procedure below to display the telephone number of each country. Make this setting before creating a meeting.

    How to add an international phone number to join by phone

    This setting can only be done by the administrator.
    1. The administrator signs in to the Zoom portal site.
    2. Select the account management, Account Settings ] and then click.
    3. Phone ] and then click the tab.
    4. Click the pencil mark below the toll call and select the country you want to add.
    5. Click Save .
    6. Create a meeting and verify that the international phone number has been added to your invitation.
