How to find the Zoom meeting invitation text

On the desktop client of Zoom, the Zoom mobile app, or on the Zoom website, you will be able to find the invitation for a scheduled meeting. The invitation can be copied and sent to your attendees to confirm their attendance. If you would like to share the full invitation, you can add the email or calendar invitation to your email signature or you can paste the hyperlink anywhere that text can be pasted.

Prerequisites for finding the meeting invitation text

  • Account with Zoom
  • Meeting is scheduled

Windows | macOS

  1. Sign in to Zoom using the Zoom client by opening the client.
  2. Then click on the Meetings tab.
  3. Please select the meeting that you need the invitation for under the Upcoming tab and click the ‘Select Meeting’ button.
  4. The invitation will be copied.
       Now you will receive a copy of the invitation that you need to open.


  1. Log into your Zoom account by opening the Zoom client and signing in.
  2. Once you are logged in, select Meetings.
  3. On the left hand side, you will see the meeting that you need to invite.
  4. Click on Copy.
  5. You will now have a copy of the meeting invitation in your clipboard. You are welcome to copy the text (ctrl-v) and paste it where you wish to share it.


  1. The Zoom web portal can be accessed by logging into the Zoom web portal.
  2. Select Meetings from the menu.
  3. Next, select the Meeting topic for which you would like to copy the invitation.
  4. You will then be able to copy the invitation.
  5. A window will open where you can copy the invitation. Once you have selected the text, click Select All.
  6. Use the keyboard shortcuts to copy the text, or simply right-click and select copy to copy the text.
  7. The copied text will now be ready for the user to paste where they want.


  1. Sign in to the Zoom app using your Zoom account and open the app.
  2. Then tap Upcoming.
  3. From the Upcoming menu, tap the meeting to which you would like to copy the invitation.
  4. Tap to  Add invitees.
  5. If you want to send it as an email, a text message, or if you want it copied to your clipboard in order to paste it anywhere, you can do that by selecting the appropriate option on the menu.


  1. Sign into Zoom using the Zoom app and open the Zoom app.
  2. Select the Upcoming tab.
  3. Tap the meeting that you would like to copy the invitation to in the upcoming list.
  4. Tap Add Invitees.
  5. If you want to send it as an email then choose that option. If you want to copy it into your clipboard then choose that option as well.
