Managing Zoom’s Salesforce integration security and privacy

It is necessary to have access to specific data in order to use the Salesforce integration with Zoom. Listed below are the types of information we collect and provide to 3rd parties for the purposes of this integration.

How your data is used

In order to facilitate your use of this app, we will need to access and use the following information from your Zoom account:

  • User information:
    • User ID for Zoom Phone
    • User ID for Zoom
    • Email address of Zoom User
    • Password for the PMI Meeting
    • Add-on services that are available
  • In the event that you have created a meeting in Salesforce, the following information will be displayed on the event page:
    • The topic of the meeting
    • URL for joining the group
    • The meeting password is:
    • There are a number of participants and a number of participants
    • Time and date of the Zoom Meeting
    • Meeting ID for Zoom Meetings
    • Duration of a Zoom Meeting
    • URLs of the start pages
    • ID of the host user on the server
  • Recording information – this information is displayed on your event page once the meeting has been completed:
    • Time of recording start and end
    • URL for Zoom Recording Playback
    • The type of recording to be made
  • Webinar information – This information will be displayed on your webinar page once the webinar has been created:
    • Topic of the Webinar
    • Description and agenda of the webinar
    • Start and end times of the webinar
    • Join URL for the webinar
    • Registration URL for the webinar
    • The settings for the webinar (approval type, allowing participants to join from multiple devices, closing registration after a certain date, host and participant video settings, practice session, webinar password) will depend on the type of approval.
    • Count of participants
    • The actual times for the start and end of the event
    • Information about the registrant (First name, last name, Registrant ID, registrant joining URL, approval status, any questions you might have about Zoom Webinars registrants)
    • Information about attendees (including Attendee ID, Attendee User ID, email, name, join and leave time, and duration of the event)
    • (Name, email, Panelist ID, Panelist Join URL, and other information about the panelists)
  • Zoom Phone call details – These details can be found in your phone call logs:
    • Time at which the ring starts
    • When is the answer going to start?
    • The end time of the call is:
    • Duration of the call
    • Id of the call
    • Number of Callee’s Extension
    • The phone number of the callee
    • Number of the caller’s extension
    • The phone number of the caller
    • Status of the signal

From your Salesforce account, this app will access and use the following information:

  • Users’ contact/lead info (first name, last name, email) – These contacts/leads are used when registering for Zoom webinars for those contacts/leads.
