Recording Consent / Recording Consent in Zoom App

When the host (host) starts recording in a meeting or webinar, attendees are asked to agree to be recorded.

If this setting is enabled, notifications will be sent to attendees when recording starts or when they join a session that has already been recorded.

Attendees can agree or leave to stay in the session.

After the session, you can generate a report that lists the participants who provided your consent.

How to enable recording consent

  1. Log in to your account with Zoom.us.
  2. Click Meeting Settings to go to the Recording tab.
  3. Recording Reminder the option to switch on (blue).
  1. You can also enable or disable this feature for other users in your account through account settings or group management .Note:
    Enabling this option applies to both local and cloud recordings.

How to agree as an attendee

  1. The following message is displayed when joining a session during recording, or when recording is started during the session.<For PC>

<For mobile>

  1. Tap Continue to accept the record .
    Tap End Meeting to end and end the session.

Report on Attendee Consent

  1. Log in to your account with Zoom.us.
  2. Click on a report .
  3. Click Usage Report or Active Host Report.
    ※ This depends on the account access.
  4. Once you have entered the criteria for generating the meeting list, click on the participant’s column number to generate a detailed report.
  5. The window that appears will display a section for recording your consent.
