Mac OS X 64-bit Support Announcement in Zoom App
The announcement just recently by Apple that they will be converting their software applications to 64-bit will encourage us to implement 64-bit technology to meet this requirement. There are a few steps in this process:
- Desktop Client: June 2018
- Outlook Plugin: June 2018
- Zoom Room Mac: September 2018
Zoom has made a commitment to supporting as many general-purpose Mac OS X versions as possible in 32-bit as well as 64-bit. As Beta OS releases have a dynamic nature, Zoom’s performance can vary, and we recommend that you stick to a generally available version of the operating system.
