Limitations
There are some limitations to the web-based controller that you should be aware of:
- A web-based Zoom Rooms controller may not contain the latest functions. Controls and settings may differ from those on a physical controller.
- As an additional Zoom Room controller, the web-based controller serves as a web browser. Web-based controllers aren’t exact copies of existing controllers. You won’t see the meeting list on the web-based controller if a room participant taps on the physical controller.
- It is possible to access most in-meeting controls and settings remotely if the Zoom Room is in a meeting. In-meeting controls display their current states on the physical controllers. Muting a room’s mic, for example, will also be indicated on the physical controllers.
- During a phone call, you can access most Zoom Room controls remotely using the web-based controller.
- Zoom Rooms can only be controlled by one web-based controller.
