Channel privileges for external users in Zoom App
As shown in the table below, external users have fewer channel privileges in comparison with internal users, as shown in the following example.
Note: An account administrator or channel administrator can enable or disable the privileges marked with an asterisk (*) by making sure that they are enabled. For more information on a particular privilege, simply click on the embedded link for that privilege.

How do I add external channels to my Zoom channel?
- Start Zoom’s desktop client by logging in with your Zoom account.
- On the left side of the screen, click on the Chat tab.
- If you wish to invite members to a channel, click on the channel you would like to invite them to.
- It is possible to add members to your group by clicking on the info icon on the right side of the page.
- It is very easy to invite users by using the text box, selecting those you would like to invite, and then clicking Add.
