In order to replace Call Queue Manager, one of Zoom Phone’s previous methods of managing call queues, we are introducing a new role called Call Queue Admin for that purpose. Managing Call Queues is all part of the Call Queue Admin role’s capabilities. However, it also provides the user with a formal administrator role framework that allows for the definition of roles, customization of role capabilities, choice of role members, and designation of the queues to which calls will go.
There will be an automatic conversion to the role of Call Queue Admin on June 21, for all users who have been assigned the designation of Call Queue Manager. Both roles will have exactly the same permissions.
