Overview

The desktop client offers advanced options for audio, video, and screen sharing. These options give you more control over your audio and video feeds. It is also useful when troubleshooting.

Prerequisites

• Zoomdesktop client
  • Windows: 6.0 (13614.1202) or later
  • macOS: 6.0 (13610.1201) or later

Advanced video options

Follow the steps below to access the options.

• In the Zoom desktop client, click your profile picture, then click Settings .
• Click the Video tab.
• Click Details

The following options are available, depending on your os.

Mac OS:

• [ Enable noise removal] : By performing a software-based noise removal, image of the video to be sent to the participants of the meeting will be clearer.
• [ Enable hardware acceleration for the video receiver] : using the hardware resources, and improve the rendering of the received video feed. If your system does not have the necessary hardware resources, the image may look bad.

Windows:

• [ Enable noise removal] : By performing a software-based noise removal, the video image to be sent to the participants of the meeting will be clearer.
• [ Enable hardware acceleration for the video processing] : The effective use of hardware resources, and improve the rendering of the entire video feed. If your system does not have the necessary hardware resources, the image may look bad.
• [ Enable hardware acceleration for the video transmission] : The effective use of hardware resources, and improve the rendering of the video feed to be sent. If your system does not have the necessary hardware resources, the image may look bad.
• [ Enable hardware acceleration for the video receiver] : The effective use of hardware resources, and improve the rendering of the received video feed. If your system does not have the necessary hardware resources, the image may look bad.
• [ Video rendering method] : Graphics rendering the video API you can select. The default is set to automatic.
• [ Video rendering post-processing] : to process the captured video. The default is set to automatic.
• [ Video Capture ring method] : You can choose the multimedia framework to be used in the video. The default is set to automatic.

Advanced audio options

Follow the steps below to access the options.

• Zoom in the desktop client, click the profile image [ Settings ] and then click.
• [ Audio ] Click the tab.
• [ Details ] and click.

The following options are available.

• [ View the meeting in the option to “activate the original sand” from the microphone] : Add a button during a meeting, to enable the original voice .
• [ Show In-Meeting Options To “Enable Audio Log” From Audio Menu] : the option to enable the troubleshooting log of the audio function, and add it to the control of during the meeting.
• [ Continuous background noise suppression] : Removes continuous noise (white noise) flowing in the background of devices and devices.
• [ Suppression of intermittent background noise] : input and chair of the operation sound of the keyboard, and other not continuous noise, to remove the noise is not a continuously flowing in the background.
• [ Echo cancellation] : is a software-based echo cancellation function. Eliminates audio echoes generated by microphones or room acoustics.

Advanced screen sharing options

Follow the steps below to access the options.

• Zoom in the desktop client, click the profile image [ Settings ] and then click.
• [ Share the screen ] and then click the tab.
• [ Details ] and click.

The following options are available.

• [ Enable hardware acceleration with respect to the screen sharing] : If the participants have reported problems with the display of a shared screen, disable this option.
• [ To restrict screen sharing subject to the following [x] frames per second] : screen sharing feed 1 and limited to a specific number of frames per second. It can be enabled if the  screen sharing bandwidth requirements are not met.
• [ Show green border when selecting shared content] : When sharing a screen on the desktop / monitor, you can easily identify the shared screen by displaying a green border at the edge of the screen. I can do it.
• [ Screen capture mode] : These options, Zoom , such as whether or not the window is removed from the screen sharing, will affect the capture method of screen sharing. Note : [ display the Zoom window in the screen sharing ] If you are enabled, screen capture mode will override the settings.
