Managing OnZoom recordings for Hosts
OnZoom’s cloud recording service can be included complimentary as part of your OnZoom event ticket registration product so that registrants can watch the event they registered for at their convenience, even if they were not present for the event. This allows registrants to view the event at their convenience, even if they were not at the event. With the registration of a ticket, you can include an added benefit such as this.
When event recordings are available as a complimentary benefit of ticket registration, the following benefits will be realized:
- Once the event starts, the recording will automatically start as soon as the event begins. As a result, you will ensure that the recording of the event takes place, even if either you or an Alternative Host forget to start the recording of the event.
Note: You will have to manually start the recording of an event if your event does not include access to event recordings when you register for your ticket. - You will be able to provide complimentary access to this recording for 7 days following the event for all registrants-those who attended as well as those who missed the event-after it has been made available to you.
Note: The Zoom web client does not allow the user to download, edit, delete, or share recordings that have been made.
As soon as the event is complete, an automatic posting of the recording will take place, so you will not have to manually upload it after the event.
