With the webinar raising function
Participants can raise their hands and let hosts or panelists know what they need.
As a host, it may be helpful to let participants know how you want to use this feature at the beginning of the webinar. For example, many webinar hosts use this feature to know if participants have questions or if they wish to un-mute to speak.

How to raise your hand in a webinar
Windows | Mac
- Click Raise Hand on the webinar control.
- You will be notified that your host has raised your hand.
- If necessary, click Lower Hand and lower your hand.
You can raise and lower your hand using shortcut keys.
Windows in, Alt Tasu Y key.
On Mac, Option + Y key.
iOS · Android
- Tap Raise Hand.
- You will be notified that your host has raised your hand.
- If necessary, tap Drop Hand and lower your hand.
Web
- Click Raise Hand on the webinar control.
- You will be notified that your host has raised your hand.
- If necessary, click Lower Hand and lower your hand.
Manage your hand raising as a host or panelist
The host or panelist is notified that the participant raised their hand. The Participant section of the Participant List will always show who is raising your hand. You can also disable the raising function. Find out more about Participant Management.

- You can also see who is raising your hands at any time in the Participant List.
To view the Participant List:
- Click Participant in Meeting Controls.
- Click [Participant]Â .
- You can also drop all hands from the Participant List. Click [Drop Hand] .
