How to Access SAML response logs
It is possible to review the SAML response logs for attempts at login if you use Single Sign-On (SSO) with Zoom. SSO is a powerful tool that can be used to troubleshoot login issues via SSO.
Prerequisites for accessing SAML response logs
- You can sign up for a Business Account, Education Account, or Enterprise Account
- That is configured with a single sign-on process
- for the owner or administrator
Enabling SAML response logs
- Log in to the Zoom web portal by entering your email address and password.
- Then click Advanced followed by Single Sign-On.
- Then click Edit.
- Make sure you enable Save SAML response logs when the user signs in under Security.
- On the SAML Response Logs tab, you will be able to see any attempted sign-in attempts through Single Sign On once Single Sign On is enabled.
How to view SAML response logs
- On the SAML Response Logs tab, click on the SAML Response Logs button.
- To view the details of the response, click on View Detail.
- This will provide you with information such as:
- Status of the IDP
- For your email address and name
- As per your Identity Provider (IDP), the attributes and values passed from your email address and name
- For the Entity
- Will be recorded in your certificate as defined by your IDP
- Response message according to SAML
