It is possible to use Basic SAML Mapping in Zoom to define a default License Type that will be used when users sign in to Zoom using SSO. The SAML attributes that are passed from the Identity Provider that you wish to map, such as your email address, first name, last name, pronouns, phone number, and department, can also be mapped in Zoom.
How does SAML authentication work?
As part of SAML, the identity provider and service provider are able to exchange information about the user, such as login credentials, authentication status, identifiers, and other relevant attributes.
