When setting up a Zoom room on a Mac mini, you need to make sure that some settings are set correctly to set it to kiosk mode.

Windows

To enable automatic login:

1. Enter ” Run ” in the Windows search box on the taskbar and press the [ Enter ] key.
2. In the Run dialog box, enter control userpasswords2 and press Enter .
3. [ To use this computer, the user will need to enter a user name and password] Remove the check of.

How to enable Windows High Performance Mode

Windows 8

1. Click the [ Battery Icon ] displayed on the task bar of the Windows 8 computer screen .
2. Click [ Other Power Options ].
3. [ High-performance mode Make sure that the option is selected.

Windows 10

1. Right click the [ Battery ] icon in the system tray and select [ Power Options ].
2. Click the Hardware and Sound category and select Power Options.
3. [ High-performance mode Make sure that the option is selected.

Disable all notifications

Enable automatic startup after a power failure:

1. Access the computer’s BIOS.
2. In the [ Power ] category of BIOS, set [ Recover on AC power off ] to [ Power on] or equivalent.

Mac

To enable automatic login:

1. Navigate to the Spotlight search at the top right of your desktop .
2. Find security and privacy
3. On the General tab, uncheck Require Password (if it is checked).
4. [ Automatic login is disabled and the check box to clear it (if you are turned on).
5. You will be prompted to enter your administrator password to enable automatic login; follow the instructions if you forgotten your password .
