Purchasing a Zoom Events ticket with PayPal

PayPal is a secure way to pay for Zoom Events tickets. By connecting your PayPal account with Zoom Events, you can also make the payment process more convenient.

Prerequisites for purchasing a ticket with PayPal

  • Zoom desktop client:
    • Windows: 5.7.6 or higher
    • MacOS: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Zoom mobile client
    • IOS: 5.7.6 or higher
    • Android: 5.7.6 or higher
  • Basic user

Notes:

  • Zoom Events version 5.7.6 supports Zoom Events; however, there may be a blank lobby experience for attendees due to a dependency with Windows’ Webview package.
  • Attendees are strongly encouraged to update to the latest Zoom desktop client/mobile application to benefit from the latest Zoom Events and Zoom Webinars features.

How to purchase tickets for the first time with a PayPal account

Pay with a new PayPal account

You can pay with PayPal after selecting the option:

  1. (Optional) Select Save this payment method for future use if you would like to use it again.
    Note:
  2. Your Zoom Events account will be updated with the payment method once you select this.
  3. The PayPal button will appear.
    PayPal’s website will be redirected to you.
  4. You will be prompted to log in to your PayPal account and enter the information associated with your credit or debit card.
  5. Pay now by clicking the button.

Pay with a saved PayPal account

Your browser will redirect you to PayPal’s website after selecting PayPal as your payment method. Complete the payment by signing in to your PayPal account.

How to purchase tickets after the first-time purchase with a PayPal account

When you first purchased a ticket through Zoom Events, you will have the option to save your PayPal account information on the checkout page, or if you manually added your PayPal account to your Zoom Events account during the checkout process, the process to purchase a ticket will be streamlined and convenient.

Pay with a saved PayPal account

Click Confirm and Pay once you have selected your PayPal account.
