Windows 7 Media Player Can not Play Recordings of Zoom Meeting Recorded Video

If Windows 7 Media Player does not load the video when sharing videos on the screen, the resolution may be high and the video may be restricted.

 

Maximum resolution supported by Windows Media Player 7

Due to software and DXVA decoding limitations, it is 1920 x 1080 pixels .

If the shared screen resolution is higher than 1920 x 1080

It is not possible to play the recorded Zoom video of shared screen on Windows 7 with WMP.

Recording resolution is based on the largest shared screen in a meeting or webinar.

 

If the video or screen can not be played back even at low resolutions

Try other media players such as VLC and Quicktime .
