How to use Zoom Rooms Camera Control for Zoom App
Zoom Rooms lets you control your local HD camera during a meeting using the Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) feature. The iPad controller also supports far-end camera control and camera presets.

Prerequisites
- PTZ camera with UVC control
- Android Controller 4.0 Android Controller 4.0 or higher

Local camera control
If you are using a PTZ camera with UVC control in the Zoom room, you can use the iPad controller to move the camera to another position.
This feature is available in Zoom Rooms version 4.0 and later.
Control your camera with Zoom Room :
- Start or join a meeting.
- [ Camera Control ] and then tap the icon.
- Use the camera control function to zoom and pan until the camera is at the required position.
- [ Completion by tapping], to return to the management screen of the meeting.
Remote camera control
You can remotely control other participants or cameras in another Zoom room.
Available on iPad controller version 4.0 or later.
To remotely control another camera:
- Start or join a meeting.
- [ Management of participants by tapping the icon to display a list of meeting participants.
- Tap the name of the participant who controls the camera and select Request Camera Control .
Participants will receive a message asking for approval.
- When the participant [ Approves ] the request, a message is displayed informing them that they can control the camera.
- [ Now tap to display the camera control for remote participants.
- Use the icon to zoom and pan until the camera is in the correct position.
- [ Finish ] or tap to relinquish control to return to the participant pop-up.
- You will return to the meeting management screen.
Camera preset
The camera control option has up to three buttons that can be used to return the camera to a specific preset position. These buttons are only available when using the Logitech and AVer camera models supported by the Zoom room and the iPad controller version 4.1 or later.
Set camera presets:
- Start or join a meeting.
- Tap the camera control icon.
- Press and hold one of the preset buttons.
If the Zoom Room setting is currently locked, you will be prompted to enter a passcode. - Enter the Zoom room pass code and tap [ OK ].
- [ Setting of position from the tap, and then zoom or pan to the desired position of the camera by using the icon as a preset.
- Tap [ Rename ] to change the name of the preset button displayed to Zoom room controller participants.
- Repeat steps 5 to 6 for the other buttons, then tap Done .
Anyone using the Zoom Room Controller can now use the button. You do not need a passcode to place the camera in one of the preset locations, but you can not change or rename these buttons.
