With digital signage
You can share images and videos on the Zoom Room screen when you are not starting a Zoom meeting. You can also create a room with digital signage only.
If you add multiple images or URLs, videos to the display, those images will be displayed in order. You can specify the length of each display.
You can view the room name, time, and shared key with the content. Content can be set at the room, floor, location, or account level.

When you stream video, the audio plays automatically. Airplay support in digital signage supports music streaming (music from iOS, Pandora, etc) and video streaming (not from YouTube for iOS digital rights management via Airplay, such as video on iOS) .

Prerequisites
- An account owner, administrator
or administrator who has edit access to the Zoom room has been granted the role right - Zoom Room for Digital Signage: Recommended Hardware
How to upload content
- Sign in to Zoom and navigate to Zoom Rooms .
- Click the place in the room hierarchy that you want to edit. For example, if you want the same content to appear in all rooms on a particular floor, click Floor Name in the hierarchy.
- Click the Edit button next to the selected location . This can be done at the account level, location level, floor level or room level.
- In the case of the entire account : [ Zoom Rooms to move to, and then click Account Settings.
- For places : Go to Zoom Rooms and click the name of the place. Click Edit at the top .
- On the floor : Zoom Rooms Go to the Zoom Rooms and click the arrow next to the location. Click the floor name from the list. Click Edit at the top.
- For Rooms : Zoom Rooms Go to the Zoom Rooms and click the location name on the left. Click the floor name from the list. Click [ Edit ] to the right of the room name .
- Click the View Contenttab.
- Click Add Content to addan image or URL.
- Content Library: Select an image or URL uploaded to the content library .
- My Computer: Browse the computer to find and upload files.
- URL : Please enter a complete URL starting with http: //. http://zoom.us
- Click Add Item.
- Optional: Select additional settings (see below).
- Click Save Changes.
Now that you have added content, it will appear in the Zoom room with default settings. If needed, you can edit the content settings as described below.
How to set content
You can choose display content settings, such as how long the image or URL is displayed, how long it was before and after the scheduled meeting, and whether the screen contains room names, times, and shared keys. Before selecting content settings, you need to add content.
Edit existing content
- Sign in to Zoom and navigate to Zoom Rooms .
- Click the place in the conference room hierarchy that you want to edit. For example, if you want the same content to appear in all rooms on a particular floor, click Floor Name in the hierarchy.
- Click the Edit button next to the selected location . This can be done at the account level, location level, floor level or room level.
- In the case of the entire account : [ Zoom Rooms Go to] [ Account Settingsand click].
- For locations : Go to the Zoom Rooms Zoom Rooms and click the name of the location. Click Edit at the top .
- In the case of floor : [ Zoom Rooms to move to, and then click the arrow next to the location. Click the floor name from the list. Click Edit at the top .
- In the case of the room : [ Zoom Rooms to move to, and then click the name of the location on the left side. Click the floor name from the list. Click [ Edit ] to the right of the room name .
- Click the View Contenttab.
Sort items
- You can rearrange content items by dragging and dropping.
Alternatively, you can click […] and select [ Move Up ] or [ Move Down ]. - When complete, click Save Changes at the bottom.
Content name change
To rename an item, click [… ] and select Rename . Enter a new name. When complete, click Save Changes at the bottom.
Delete content
To delete an item, click [… ] and select [ Delete ]. You can delete multiple items by clicking the check box and clicking Delete Selected . When complete , click Save Changes at the bottom .
Change of content period
To change the item display period, place the mouse over the period and click the pencil. You can use the up and down arrows to adjust the time period or click on a number to select one of the preset numbers. When complete , click Save Changes at the bottom .
Each item is automatically set to be displayed on the screen for 5 seconds.
Content schedule settings
You can choose how long to display digital signage before and after a scheduled meeting. In the Schedule section, click the pencil icon and enter the number of minutes before and after the meeting time you plan to view content. When complete, click Save Changes at the bottom.
Selection of elements to display
Under Show Element, you can click whether to include room name, time, and shared key in digital signage. When complete , click Save Changes at the bottom .
Turn digital signage on or off
- Sign in to Zoom and navigate to Zoom Rooms .
- Click the place in the conference room hierarchy that you want to edit. For example, if you want the same content to appear in all rooms on a particular floor, click Floor Name in the hierarchy.

- Click the Content Appearance tab.
- Toggle the setting next to Digital Signage Status on (blue) or off (white).
- Click Save Changes at the bottom .
Upload to content library
Before adding content to digital signage, upload images and URLs to the content library.
The advantage of uploading to the content library is that branding images etc. can be uploaded to the content library and then another administrator can apply the branding image to digital signage of each ZoomRooms.
If you upload to an individual room, floor or place, the content is only available at the upload location, but if you add it to the content library, it will be available to your entire account.
Upload content
- Sign in to your Zoom account to access digital signage content .
- Click Add Content.
- Select the type of content you want to add.
- My Computer : Upload JPG or PNG images from your computer .
- URL : Please enter a complete URL starting with http: //.
- Click on an additional item.
- Items are added to the content library and can be added to places, floors, or individual rooms.
Addition of Digital Signage Room
The Digital Signage Room does not require a Zoom Room license. It only displays digital signage, it can not start or join a meeting.
- Sign in to Zoom and navigate to Zoom Rooms .
- Click [ + Add Room ].
- Enter a room name.
- Select [ Digital Signage Only ] from the [ Room Type ] menu .
- Click Finish or Save / Add Others .

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you use zoom room digital signage?
There is an option in Zoom Rooms where you can add a room that is only intended for digital signage, and no Zoom Rooms license is required to add that room.
Meetings cannot be started using this tool.
