Resolution of recorded video
The video quality of a video can be greatly affected by the resolution of the video. You’ll need to consider the number of participants in the meeting, as well as the meeting settings, when choosing whether to record locally or on the cloud. If you would like to know what the resolution of your local or cloud recordings is, you can refer to the table provided.

- In the case of a shared screen, the resolution of the video will depend on the resolution of the screen that is being shared in the largest size.
- There will be no change with the video resolution, which will still be set to 1280 x 720p. There will be some sizing of the video though, so that it will fit within the entire recording frame.
|
- If more than one screen is shared, the video resolution of the larger screen shared will determine the video resolution of the other screens.
- Regardless of the resolution, videos will still be sent at a maximum of 1280 x 720p. However, in order to make the video fit the entire recording frame, it will need to be resized.
|
(*) the video resolution needs to be adjusted as well. |
(*) If the screen resolution on the shared screen is greater than the resolution of the camera, when the video is recorded, black bands will appear to surround the video on the screen.
