Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I use phone audio on Zoom?
On Android devices, Zoom may experience sound problems if there is a mute on your phone’s speaker or your in-app speaker has been disabled. This may occur if you are using Zoom on an Android device. There is also the possibility that the App may not function properly if the sound profile setting on the phone is Silent or Vibrate. It is for these reasons that the disruptions are most likely to occur.
Why can’t I get my audio to work on Zoom?
I would strongly recommend that you plug in your microphone, speakers, or headphones and do not mute them, and you should not turn the microphone off while recording. The device should be unplugged, then plugged back in after that. The first thing you should do before you try to use it is to make sure that it is turned on and properly connected, if it is a Bluetooth device. If you are using an USB device to connect to Zoom, make sure that it is compatible with the program.
