Prerequisites for changing account-level desk phone settings
- A professional account, a business account, or an education account
- Admin or owner privileges on the account

- It is important to note that not all features of all supported desk phones will work. For more information about the features that are supported on the desk phone, please refer to the following list.
- In order for the changes to take effect, you will need to resync the phone after making the changes.
How to change account-level desk phone settings
- To access the Zoom web portal, you will need to sign in.
- Click on Phone System Management from the navigation menu, then click on Company Info from the menu.
- On the Account Settings page, click the Edit button.
- There are a number of settings you can change in the Desk Phone section, including:
- Web Interface: Depending on your preference, you can enable (disabled by default) or disable the web interface on the phone.
- Note : The web interface is enabled if you wish to be able to access the phone’s web interface in order to re-provision the phone or reset the phone to its factory defaults.
- Admin Password: In order to access the advanced settings and the web interface of the phone, you will need to enter an admin password.
- Note : The default admin password will still be used by your account if you see Factory Setting.
- Background Image: In order to display a background image on the desk phones, you will need to enter an image URL.
- Time Format: You can choose between a time format of 12 or 24 hours.
- Network Time Protocol (NTP) Server: To automatically update the time displayed on desk phones, you need to enter the URLs of both your primary and secondary Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers. In the case that the primary NTP server can not be accessed or is not set, the secondary NTP server is used.
- Provision Template: Provide configuration templates for provisioned desk phones to enable additional settings to be configured.
- Firmware Update Rules: It is important to set up the rules for firmware updates. It is also possible to set this setting at the site level as well.
- Hot Desking Session Timeout: In the event that the limit is reached, all signed in phones with hot desking will automatically be signed out and become unusable.
- Customize * and # Codes: The DTMF codes can be customized according to your needs.
