The Zoom room allows you to make direct calls to H.323 / SIP devices. You can also add the added device to the Zoom Room Controller’s contact list by adding the H.323 / SIP device from Add Zoom Web Portal H.323 / SIP Device.

Prerequisites

• Conference room for Zoom Rooms PC, conference room for Mac or conference room for Chrome released after January 2019
• Zoom Rooms Controller released for January 2019 and later For iOS, Android, Windows
• Registered in H.323 / SIP Room Connector Add-on

H.323 / SIP device call

You can call H.323 / SIP devices using your contact list, device IP address, or E.164 number.

How to invite using a contact list

1. Tap [ Meet Now ] in the Zoom room controller.
2. Use the search box to find and select the H.323 / SIP device you want to call.
3. Click Meet Now to start a meeting with the selected H.323 / SIP device.

• If you need to enter a number (such as a meeting ID) during a callout, click Manage Participants, tap the name of the H.323 / SIP device, and then click Show Keypad. Tap it.

• Enter numbers using the keypad.

Callout method using device IP address or E.164 number

1. Tap Meet Now in the left panel.
2. Tap Call H.323 / SIP in the lower right corner.
3. Enter the IP address or E.164 number, select H.323 or SIP, and then tap the call.

• If you need to enter a number (for example Meeting ID) while on the phone, tap Keypad.

• Enter numbers using the keypad.

Call an H.323 / SIP Device During a Meeting

You can call H.323 / SIP devices using your contact list, device IP address, or E.164 number.

Invitation method using the contact list 

• Tap Invite during a meeting.
• [ Invitation from the contact and then tap the tab.
• Use the search box to search for and select the H.323 / SIP device you want to call.

• Click [ Invite ].
• If you need to enter a number (such as a meeting ID) during a callout, click Manage Participant, tap the name of the H.323 / SIP device, and then click Show Keypad . Tap it.

• Use the keypad to enter numbers.

Use the device’s IP address or E.164 number

• Tap Invite during a meeting.
• [ Invited the conference room system and then tap the tab.
• Enter the IP address, select H.323 or SIP, and then click on the call.

• If you need to enter a number (for example Meeting ID) while on the phone, tap Keypad.

• Enter numbers using the keypad.
