Configuring Salesforce High Velocity Sales (HVS) in Zoom App

Zoom Phone can be integrated with Salesforce High Velocity Sales with the Zoom for Salesforce app.

Prerequisites for Salesforce High Velocity Sales (HVS)

  • The Zoom for Salesforce application requires Salesforce version 3.16 or higher
  • An account with a Salesforce license and permissions for HVS in a Salesforce user account
  • As part of our HVS implementation, Salesforce has enabled features and set up call results for branching in our Salesforce organization.

How to configure High Velocity Sales settings

For enabling the HVS settings and choosing a disposition field for the HVS, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Zoom package in the Installed Packages section of Setup, then click on the Installed Packages tab.
  2. Once you have selected Configure, click on it.
  3. You will find the HVS Settings section on the Configuration Panel page.
  4. Enable HVS by checking the box next to it.
  5. The first step is to select a Disposition Field for the HVS.
  6. Then choose phone-customize call log fields in the Zoom Phone Settings. You can view all the items by clicking on the View All button.
  7. The Disposition field in the call log panel should be added to the HVS disposition field to represent the HVS disposition.
  8. Setup and Object Manager can be accessed (optional) after you have accessed Setup.
  9. The Zoom Call Log can be accessed by clicking on Fields & Relationships from the Zoom Call Log page.
  10. Once you have accessed Disposition, click on Values to see what values are available.
  11. Add new values to the Zoom Phone disposition field or edit the existing values of the Zoom Phone disposition field.

How to map disposition fields

There is a predefined branching criteria for sales cadence in Salesforce HVS based on predefined call results (dispositions).

Using the predefined Salesforce HVS contact result values, you can map the values of your call results to the predefined values in Salesforce HVS.

  1. Go to Setup and then select High Velocity Sales from the menu.
  2. The main menu is configured under High Velocity Sales and then there is a Define Call Results for Branching section.
  3. Select Edit from the menu on the left.
  4. In order to use the HVS call results, you must enter your call result values into the appropriate fields.
  5. Save the file by clicking on the Save button.
  6. All the values that should be mapped into the Zoom Phone HVS Disposition Field are contained in the Call Result Values column.
    It is important to ensure that the new disposition values are mapped appropriately if you have added or modified the default disposition values.
Note : In order for changes to be reflected in all the Salesforce HVS pages, users must refresh them once the integration settings have been changed.
