On top of that, Zoom can also be used for connecting teams everywhere, reimagining your workspaces, engaging new audiences, delighting your customers, and building new innovations — all with the Zoom platform you know and love.
Over the past decade, this evolution has been in the making for over a decade. Our new look and refreshed visual identity will be reflected in our new look and logo that you will see today. It can also be seen in the innovation that takes place in the products we offer to our customers.
When teams are spread across places and time zones, the importance of establishing connections cannot be overstated. We are in the process of continuing to evolve as a company and platform so that we can provide that connection and further support all the ways you work in this industry. So I’m very excited to share with you more about how we are doing this.

As a result of people like you, Zoom has become one of the best platforms for connecting. We are guided by the core value of Care with everything we do, and we also care about our global customers who are faced with new challenges every day in terms of collaboration.
It has become more difficult for employees to meet their expectations. In today’s world, remote and hybrid work have become just another way of doing business. There are more channels than ever for communication, and collaboration occurs across oceans as well. It is also true that organizations do not have a playbook for adapting to this new situation.
The technology we use is geared towards supporting these evolving workstreams and enabling meaningful team collaboration in support of them.

Putting the team in chat
Using our comprehensive platform, people are able to connect across places, objects, and devices in the most convenient way possible, so work becomes … well, less work. We believe that our team collaboration and messaging hub is at the heart of the success of our platform.
Zoom Chat used to be the name we used for it. With the renaming of Zoom Team Chat as of today, we will enable teamwork and collaboration to be more effective and efficient, ushering in the future of persistent messaging. As a result of our significant investment in Zoom Team Chat, and in preparation for our upcoming announcement later this month, we will unveil even more enhancements to the product.
In today’s hybrid and flexible work environments, chat is the way to collaborate, and it is the backbone of the collaboration process. This is the place where teams can track project progress, build a culture, and connect instantly and asynchronously with each other. As the starting point and end point of a team’s day, it is where their workday begins and ends. Today, it’s an essential part of our daily lives.
The following conclusions can be drawn from a study conducted by Morning Consult on behalf of Zoom in 2022 of IT decision-makers:
Almost 95% of respondents agree that messaging services are important for people working in remote or hybrid environments
According to 86% of respondents, messaging services play a very important role in their organization
The majority of respondents said that they used a messaging service every day
Why was the name changed in the first place? The reason for this was that something was missing.

The brand of our company grows along with our product portfolio as it expands. The Zoom brand has been strengthened to make it easier for existing and potential customers to understand how our communications platform can benefit their business.
To make things simpler, we’re going to use a new visual – the main picture in this post – so that people can get a better sense of what you can do with our platform. Our visual identity will also be updated in the coming months, including the color palette, typography, product icons, and more. As a result of the update, Zoom’s blue color has been enhanced for greater legibility and to advance accessibility on the platform.
