Non-verbal feedback during the Zoom meeting
If the meeting setter has enabled the non-verbal feedback feature, the meeting participant can click on the icon next to his name to communicate with the host and other participants without interrupting the meeting flow. You can raise a sign or send a sign that you need a break.
All participants will see icons selected by others.
The host can display a summary of the number of participants displaying each icon and can also delete all feedback.

Enable non-verbal feedback
Set at the account level
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with permission to edit account settings and click Account Settings .
- [ Meeting] tab> [ at the meeting (basic) ] and access to, [non-verbal feedback] to ensure that it is effective.
- If the setting is invalid, click the Status toggle to enable it. In the confirmation dialog box, click [On] to confirm the change.
- (Optional) If you want this setting to be mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon to lock it.
Set at the group level
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with permission to edit user groups and click Group Management .
- Click the group name and then click the Settings tab.
- [ Meeting] tab> [ at the meeting (basic)] in the [non-verbal feedback] Make sure that is enabled.
- If the setting is invalid, click the status toggle to enable it. When the confirmation dialog is displayed, select [On] to confirm the change.
- (Optional) If you want this setting to be mandatory for all users in this group, click the lock icon to lock it.
Set at user level
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal , [ meeting settings and click].
- [ Meeting] tab> [ at the meeting (basic)] to move to the option , [non-verbal feedback] to ensure that it is effective.
- If the setting is invalid, click the status toggle to enable it. When the confirmation dialog is displayed , select [On] to confirm the change.
- Note : If the option is grayed out, it is locked at the group or account level and you will need to contact your Zoom administrator.

Send nonverbal feedback during a meeting (participant)
Send nonverbal feedback to a meeting host:
- Join the Zoom meeting as a participant.
- Click the Participant button.
- Click one of the icons to send feedback to the host. Click the icon again to delete it. Note : Only one icon can be active at a time.
- The meaning of the mark is as follows from the left.・ Raise your hand

Manage non-verbal feedback (host)
Click the Manage Participant button to view a list of participants and nonverbal feedback.
In the Participant List, you can use the following features to view and manage your feedback:
- When a participant clicks the feedback icon, an icon appears next to the name.
- The numbers above each feedback icon indicate the number of participants who clicked that icon.
- Participants [Hand Raised] If you click, move the cursor to the participant’s name, [down the hand] , you can lower the hand by clicking.
- If you click [ Clear All] , all non-verbal feedback icons will be deleted.

Manage non-verbal feedback (host)
You can view and manage your feedback using the following features:
- If a participant gives nonverbal feedback, the in-meeting screen shows the number of participants who clicked on the icon.
- To remove all non-verbal feedback icons, click the non-verbal feedback icon on the screen during a meeting and then click Clear All .
- If the participant clicks on a raised hand, the host can release the hand by tapping the name in the participant list and clicking Drop Hand.

Providing Nonverbal Feedback During Meetings (Attendees)
To provide nonverbal feedback to the host of the meeting:
- Join a Zoom meeting as a participant.
- Click Participants.
- Click one of the icons to provide feedback to the waiting room , the screen will change to the following screen. Please wait until the host. Click the icon again to remove it.
- Note: You can only have one icon active at a time.

Managing Nonverbal Feedback (Hosts)
You can view and manage feedback using these features:
- If participants have given nonverbal feedback, the in-meeting screen will display the number of participants that have clicked on that icon.
- To remove all nonverbal feedback icons, click a nonverbal feedback icon on the in-meeting screen, then click Clear All.
- If a participant clicked raise hand, you can lower their hand by tapping their name in the participants list and clicking Lower Hand.
