When you move pre-existing BYOC numbers to Zoom Phone, it is known as a BYOC to native port.
Prerequisites for requesting a BYOC number port
- The account owner or the administrator has the following privileges:
- Possession of a Zoom Phone license (separate from that of a BYOC license)
The following information may need to be provided to us:
- If you have a current carrier, please provide the account number for that carrier (if applicable)
- Then enter the 4-digit PIN number (which must be entered for all wireless ports if it is a wireless number)
How to request a BYOC number port
- The Letter of Agency (LOA) is available for download and completion.
- The BYOC Porting Sheet is available for download and completion.
Note: - It is also necessary to fill out the Toll-Free LOA if you are transferring toll-free numbers.
- In this email, please include the LOA and the BYOC Porting Sheet as well as the email number porting@zoom.us.
- Be sure to include the subject line of the email: BYOC Porting.
- A member of Zoom’s team will review this request and confirm that it has been received.
- When Zoom Phone and their partner companies make any requests to your previous provider, they will verify the information stated in the Letter of Agreement. The previous provider and Zoom will work together in order to activate the pending porting if it is accepted. It will be available to you for managing in the Zoom web portal once it has been approved.
