Data center and dial-in regions relationship
In the event a conflict arises between the data center regions and the dial-in countries during the customization of the data center regions, a warning notification will be shown in the web portal.
If you leave off Australia as a data center region, for example, you won’t be able to select either New Zealand or Australia as an in-country dial-in country. Additionally, you will not be able to choose toll numbers, toll-free numbers, or toll-based numbers from Australia or New Zealand.
Notes:
- Select the toll or toll free/fee-based toll numbers and then choose the Data Center column to see the data center associated with the number when you select the toll or toll free/fee-based toll number.
- It should be noted that the data centers selected for the account do not affect call-out countries or regions. There is an exception, the Chinese data center. To see China as a call-out country, you need to have the China data center selected.
