The CRC connector works with most systems that support SIP or H.323 using H.264 video and G.722 or G.711 audio.

The information in the following list is based on Zoom’s lab tests and customer reports.

A Zoom cloud meeting can be joined using a H. H. phone that supports H. 323 calls (aka a Room Connector) or a phone that supports SIP calls (such as a sIP-based phone) that can make a video call to a Zoom cloud meeting in order to join the meeting. As an alternative to using a Room Connector, one can connect out to a H.  323 or SIP device in order to participate in Zoom cloud meetings from a computer.
 
  • An electronic device. You will need a computer with a microphone and speakers, operating system such as Windows or Apple. It is recommended to use a webcam, but it is not a requirement.
  • Devices that are mobile. It could be an iOS device or an Android device.
  • A telephone. Devices such as mobile phones, desk telephones, and landlines can be used.
Using the Zoom Cloud Room Connector (CRC), users are able to connect both traditional VoIP systems and SIP-based 323/SIP systems for the establishment of conference rooms to the Zoom Cloud Room Connector (CRC). With the CRC, Polycom, Cisco Tandberg, Lifesize, and other endpoints such as Polycom, Cisco Tandberg, and Lifesize can easily and seamlessly communicate over Zoom with other endpoints such as Polycom, Cisco Tandberg, and Lifesize on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

A meeting can be joined by a 323 device or by a SIP device using Room Connector.
SIP/H pre-configuration and how to do it. In order to connect to a room, you need to dial 323
  1. The Zoom website can be accessed by signing in to it.
  2. Select the Room Management option from the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
  3. Please click on H. You will see the Room Connector for 323 and SIP.
  4. The Configuration tab will appear once you click it.
