Joining Zoom Events
In the confirmation email, on the calendar entry, or in the ticket in your Zoom Events account, you will find a link to join the Zoom Events that you have registered for. You can also join Zoom Events directly from Zoom’s desktop client, from its mobile app, or from the details page of a particular event in Zoom.
You will need to download Zoom’s app from our Download Center before you can join a Zoom event on your computer or mobile device. If you click on a link to join a webinar, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom, or you will be asked what to do.
Further, attendees will still be able to open the client’s lobby window when they click on the Join button on the client. If you click Join from other places, your desktop/mobile web browser will open the Lobby tab once you sign in and if you click Join from another place, your browser will open the lobby tab after you sign in.
Note:Â Zoom desktop client must be accessed using the same Zoom account used for registering for Zoom Events in order for you to use Zoom desktop client.
