overview
By using the site, you can organize the telephone users in your organization. For example, you can create multiple sites based on your office location. Here are the benefits of having multiple sites:
- A main automatic receptionis assigned to each site, so you can forward calls to each site individually.
- Each site has its own caller ID name, phone user , call queue , and unique phone , which makes it easier to manage extensions.
- You can also assign a site code to each site, so users can easily identify and dial extensions that belong to the same site.
- You can customize settingssuch as business hours at the site level instead of applying it to your entire organization .
When you enable multiple sites, Zoom will automatically create the main site, and then move all of the items on this site ( multiple sites at the main site will not show). The organization has a company representative number , which applies to the main auto-reception on the main site .

- The site code is prepended to each extension that belongs to that site.
- Existing extensions are shortened (short extensions) so they do not exceed the 6-digit limit. Users can dial a short extension to reach out to users on the same site.
- A long extension is a combination of a site code and a short extension. This number is available to outside callers and phone users on other sites.
